The Reason

Lauren's Pov

We were back in the Cabello's residence sitting in the living room and apologizing for the delay.

"I'm sorry again Ms. Cabello.." I apologized and she smiled at me.

"It's okay Lauren.. and please call me Sinuhe"

"Is she here?" Sinuhe asked and I nodded.

"Yes.. she's sitting right next to you" I said smiling at my baby Camz

"I'm so sorry for not believing you.. " Sinuhe said and I nodded.

"It's fine Sinuhe..." I smiled

"So how did you meet Camila?" She asked and Camila winked at me.

"I uhh.. I was sitting in the park bench when I saw this girl sitting under tree and just staring up the sky... she was cute so I thought I'd say hi.. she was so surprised at first and kept asking me if I could really see her.. I thought it was weird... then she told me that she was ghost.. I didn't believed her at first but she proved it and I freaked out..I got the hang of it tho..with uhh..you know.. with her around me all the time and talking about how she can't remember who she was... after a few days she convinced me to help her and now we're here." I told the story smiling at Camila which she reciprocated.

"So how come you're the only one who can see her?" Sinuhe asked and I looked at Dinah who was sipping her cup of coffee.

"Dinah said that maybe I was the chosen one.. to help her with her last mission or something" I said and Dinah nodded.

"You can see her too?" Sinuhe asked Dinah who shook her head no.

"I can't SEE her...just her uhh shadow.. it runs in our family.. seeing and feeling the supernatural things" She said and Sinuhe nodded.

"So what is her mission?" Sinuhe asked and I looked at Dinah.

"We're not sure yet.. now we're just helping her remember who she was.." Dinah said

"But Dinah thought of something that could be Camila's last mission here" I said and Sinuhe gave me a confused look.

"Tell her DJ" I whispered and she nodded

"I thought that uhmm.. maybe Camila's last mission is uhh.. Lauren" Dinah said and Sinuhe was still confused.

"What about Lauren?" Sinuhe asked and I looked at Camila who was smiling softly.

"You can tell her about us" Camila said and I nodded

"I uhh.. I was a uhmm asshole before I met Camila.. I never cared about anything but myself.. So when I met her.. I changed.. She made me a better person and taught me so many things about life.. She's the only one who made me feel love and give love.." I said smiling at Camila.

"You're in love with my daughter?" Sinuhe asked and I nodded.

"Very much... yes.." I said and Sinuhe nodded

"I'm inlove with you too Lolo" Camila was smiling and looking at me with those adoring brown eyes.

"So that's why you're the only one who can see her?" Sinuhe asked amd I nodded.

"There's something else.." Dinah muttered and we all looked at her.

She sighed putting down the cup of coffee on the table.

"I asked my mom yesterday how some people can see ghosts.. she answered with because they have gifts, third eyes and uhh because they're dying" Dinah whispered the last part and I frowned.
