Camila's Pov

Lauren is on the phone talking to my mom asking about my sister Sofi while I sit on her bed thinking if I was a good or a bad sister.

"Hey.." Lauren whispered softly sitting down beside me.

"So.. when can we see her?"

"Tomorrow babe.. she's coming home tomorrow with uhh your dad" Lauren said and I felt my body tense up.

Am I ready?

Lauren sighed when she noticed my discomfort when I heard that I will be seeing my dad too.

"Babe... maybe it's time that we talk to him about you.." Lauren said comforting me by looking into my eyes.

"I know... I'm just.. I don't know if I'm ready.." I said and she nodded.

"I don't wanna force you but... if we talk to him tomorrow the sooner this will all be over" Lauren said and I looked at her.

"Over? This will all be over and I'll  finally move on and leave this world... I don't think I want that" I said and she furrowed her brows.

"That's the plan..right?" She asked and I looked down.

"Leaving this world means leaving you Lo" I said with a low voice.

"Then I'll come with you" She whispered and I shook my head no.

"I can't let you do that.." I said and she smiled.

"Let's just talk to them.. okay? We'll see what will happen next"

I sighed nodding my head. I don't wanna protest anymore because it will only lead to us arguing about it. And Lauren's right.. we have to talk to them somehow.

"Okay.." I nodded my head.

"Don't be scared okay? I'm right here with you" Lauren said smiling at me and I reciprocated.

"Everything will be fine baby" She whispered.

Fuck I'm so lucky

"I'm so happy I met you.. Did I ever tell you that? I asked and she giggled.

"Yes..you did.. I think" Lauren giggled and I smiled looking at how her lips form the most perfect smile.

"Okay.. so I texted Dinah to come with us tomorrow.. It'll be less scary when Dinah's there..is that okay?" Lauren asked and it was a brilliant idea.

"That's good... I like having Dinah around."

Lauren's Pov

We stepped out Dinah's car and I noticed Camila was quiet the whole drive. And I know that she's anxious about meeting her dad.

I was breathing heavily calming my rage and the heat rising to my cheeks. I kinda hate her dad. I mean he's the reason why Camila ran out and got hit by a car. I blame him for all of this.

"Is Camila okay?" Dinah asked as we walk towards the all too familiar door.

"No.. but she'll be fine" I said and Dinah looked at me confused.

"Are you okay?" Dinah asked and I nodded.

Before we reach the porch, the door opened revealing a smiling Sinuhe.

"Lauren... Dinah.. it's nice to see you girls again." Sinuhe said as she gave us a big warm hug.

Camila was standing behind me smiling at the interaction we're having.
