The Right Time

Camila's Pov

It's been 3 weeks and I'm still here. I've talked to everyone and fixed things up with them including my dad but still nothing happened.

It bothers me that I'm still here but at the same time I'm happy about it because i'm with my perfect girlfriend Lauren.

"You okay?" Lauren asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Uhh yeah.. just thinking" I said and she nodded.

We were on our way home from our fridate and it still feels like the first time.

"Is it weird that it always feels like the first time everytime we go out on a date?" Lauren asked not taking her eyes off the road.

"No.. it's not" I giggled making her smile

"I love that" Lauren muttered

"Love what?"

"That sound.. you're giggle, your laugh, your snoring.. everything" Lauren said smiling making me blush.

"Stoooooop...I don't snore" I whined resting my head on the car window.

Lauren sighed and I looked at her "Please don't leave me" she whispered.

"I won't" I whispered back.

"Shit.. did I say that out loud?" She said and I laughed.

"Yes you did.." I said smiling at her.

I was admiring her perfect side profile when I noticed a bright light coming to us and a loud car honk rang through my ears.

"Lo!" I jumped to protect her body from the truck but I just went through her door and I watched the truck collide with her car.

"Lauren!!" I yelled as Lauren's car turned upside down.

I ran towards her car and saw Lauren lifeless while blood was dripping on her face.

"No...no.. baby" I whimpered

People started gathering around the incident and some are calling 911.

"Camz.." She whispered

"I'm here... stay with me okay?" I said while sobbing.

Lauren was in surgery while I sat in the waiting room. I know I could just walk through there and see how she's doing but I'm scared.

"Lauren Jauregui?" A woman's voice said and I looked up to see her parents. Her mom was crying while her dad comforts her.

They sat in the waiting room with me and waited patiently..

I sat on the floor and hugged my knees hoping that she'll be okay.

"Camz.."

I snapped out of my thoughts and saw Lauren kneeling in front of me while her hand was resting on my knee.

"H-how?" I asked confused and shocked at the sight of her. She looks perfectly fine. Like nothing happened.

"I'm with you now" She whispered smiling at me.

"No..no..not yet baby" I said making her frown.

"Don't you want to be with me?" Lauren asked holding my hand intertwining our fingers.

Her hand is so soft and warm. This is what I've been waiting for. To hold and feel her. I can feel her in her dreams but this was different.

"Am I dreaming?" I asked and she shook her head no.

"This is real Camz" Lauren said.

"Does this mean your uhh.." I asked and she nodded.

"No.. you have to get back baby.." I said feeling my tears rolling on my cheeks.

"Why?" She asked wiping my tears

"It's not your time yet.." I said and she stood up.

"I died for you.. and now you're saying you don't want me anymore?" Lauren said turning her back and before she could walk away I quickly grabbed her hand and kissed it inhaling her scent

"You have no idea how I wanted to be with you baby... I want you forever..remember that. I just don't want to be selfish.. it's not your time yet Lo. We'll be together soon.. just wait a little longer.. you have to get back baby.. They need you" I said looking at her parents and she followed my gaze and sighed.

"Okay.. for you" Lauren said and I smiled.

"I love you" I whispered as I hold the back of her neck and pulled her in for a kiss.

This time I can really feel her soft and sweet lips kissing me back.

I pulled back and opened my eyes to a smiling Lauren.

"You just made it harder to leave.." She giggled and I laughed.

"Sorry.. now go" I whispered and she started to fade.

"See you later" She said and I nodded.
