Mitch's POV
I continue to drive around town. Maybe she's in an orphanage? I see an orphanage to my right and swerve to it.
"What are you doing?" Jerome asks.
"Checking the orphanages." I get out of the car and Jerome follows as we enter.
"Hi, welcome to Everest Orphanage!" A cheerful lady says. "Looking to adopt?"
"I'm looking for a specific person." I state blankly.
"Do you know their name?"
"Merome." Jerome beats me to it. The lady types something into her computer.
"I'm sorry, Merome was adopted today."
"Where is she?!" I blurt out.
"Sweden."
Ty's POV
Adam and I had bought tickets for Mitch, Jerome, and us for Pax in a few months.
"Do you think there will be that one person like from last year?" I ask.
"Like... which one?"
"The one last year that wanted my left foot. She had a chainsaw... it was scary." I shivered.
"Well, now their gonna want your tail." I froze.
"Crap. Well, I'm off to buy oversized hoodies." Adam laughs.
"You know, we haven't been mentioned much lately. I thought this was a skylox story."
"What do you mean story?" I ask and look towards a girl who sits in the corner with a laptop.
"Unm... I REGRET NOTHING!!" She yells and runs away.
"Has she been here the whole time?" I ask, still staring at where she was.
"Probably." Adam laughs and I chuckle.
"Wait... does that mean?"
"No, she's gone but there's probably another person writing the story still."
I CAME IN LIKE A WREEEEKING BAAALLLLL
