When you both know you've lost the bishops, the woman slows the horse down. You contemplate if going with her is a good idea. They're probably the Banditos, and Nico said they're savages. But then again, he could be lying, after all, he did almost kill you. You think this over for a good long while. You notice you're still holding onto the woman tightly when she starts to giggle at how terrified you are. You decide then and there what you're going to do.

You relaxed your grip on the woman for a little bit. All of a sudden, you swing your leg over the horse and drop down to the stony ground. You get up quickly and sprint. The woman whips her head around in surprise, swinging her horse around to take after you. She rides her horse next to you, and out of fear of being grabbed, you slide on the gravel and make a sharp turn. Your heart is pounding and the adrenaline is rushing through your body, pushing you farther and farther into your limits; way beyond even.

"Please, just hear me out!" The woman calls from atop her horse.

You shake your head, trying to block out anything she has to say. You have been told the Banditos were very manipulative and would do anything to get you to go with them. But then again, why do you have to believe Nico? The thoughts are conflicting in your head, waging a war behind your face and above your throat, trying to reason with your own will.

You let out a cry of frustration, sadness, anger, so many things as you let yourself fall down onto the stony terrain. The woman slows her horse down and watches as you break down, your emotions conflicting with your mind and body. You start to shake as hot tears make their way down your face. The freezing air whips your hair around and the soaked clothes cling to your shivering and shaking form.

You hear the sounds of feet falling and landing on the ground, and then making their way over to you. A hand is placed on your shoulder for a few moments before leaving. Something is draped over your shoulders. The woman has taken her jacket off and given it to you.

"You're freezing." She says calmly. She kneels beside you. "Hey, it's okay. I just want to help. I know you're afraid of us but I promise you, we're here to help." She soothes.

Her voice doesn't ring through your head like Nico's, her voice is soft and full of compassion. You ease up at her tone and the shaking starts to come to a slow stop. Once you stop shaking, you realize that she had been rubbing circles on your back and had sat down beside you.

"Feeling better?" She asks.

You don't move aside from a tiny nod. You try to take the jacket off to give back to her but she pushes it back on. "Keep it. You're cold and those clothes won't help at all." You both stand up and mount the horse, you in the front and her in the back.

"Jenna." The woman gives her name.

"Y-Y/N.." you reply.

You both catch up to the Banditos, and Jenna was sure you had lost all of the bishops. She slows the horse down and you walk with the Banditos. The Banditos are still quite intimidating to you and you start to panic a little bit. All the horrible things that Nico had said to you start to come back, conflicting with your instinct to trust them. You try to shake them off but they won't leave.

"Hey, it's gonna be alright. We're just here to help you." She said, reassuring you. "Before I say anything else, I'd like to introduce us. We are the Banditos." she then points to the man with tape crossed over his heart, leading the Banditos with someone by his side, holding hands. "He is Josh. The other Bandito next to him is Tyler."

After knowing positively that they are the Banditos Nico has told you about, you start to get even more panicked.

"W-what are you going t-to do to me...?" You half ask and half demand.
