You don't know where you are. You just wake up here, in this grey stone, or bricked?, you can't tell, but it's depressing room. A single bed sits next to a window, nails holding it shut, a big drawer, and a small bedside table.
You swing your legs over the side of the bed, wondering where you were, and how you had gotten here. You remember your parents, and your sibling(s). You remember your room; you went to sleep in your own bed, right?
You fling the blankets off of you, instantly regretting it as the cold, dusty air hit your bare arms and legs. You bear a grey tank top and some shorts.
This must be a dream, right? I'm totally dreaming... yea... Dreaming...
Soon, a red cloaked figure enters the room, not even bothering to knock, although he does enter gently. You freeze at his intrusion and he realizes he has indeed intruded.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were awake. I was going to check up on you." He says.
You look at him quizzically.
"My bad, I am Nicolas Bourbaki. You can call me Nico. I saved you from the Trench. You were jumped by a group called the Banditos." He explains.
"H-how d-did I-"
"I found you with my horse and brought you back here. To Dema." He says.
"B-but I-"
"You may have memory of another life, but that is normal here in Dema, but it's easily fixed." He explains.
You don't speak this time. You're starting to get a little pissed off at him for cutting you off, but you're also scared of what he might do. His voice, though, was soothing, in a way. It was kind of eerie, but you go with it.
He sits down next to you. "What's your name?"
You glare a bit at him before answering, making sure he wasn't going to interrupt you. "Y-Y/N." You say timidly.
"That's a nice name." He compliments.
You just nod your head. You're starting to fiddle with your fingers. You then notice Nico has wrapped an arm around you. You try to squirm out of his grasp but he just shushes you.
"Shhh, it's alright. I'm not going to hurt you. I'm trying to help you." He cooes.
Seeing there was no way to get away from him in this tiny room, you just go along with it.

You've stayed in Dema for a while now and Nico had gotten you to warm up to him. Eventually he got you to move into his room.
"Hey, you seem kind of on edge a lot. I was thinking you could use some company." He rubs your shoulders as you tense up.
"I-um..."
"I have space in my room. You can stay with me. We can go up right now and set up sleeping arrangements."
"I-I-I don-" you stutter.
"I only have one bed though, but you can sleep with me." He cooes.
You start to tremble under his touch and presence. He leads you up to his room and shows the space around. The room has the same layout as yours, it's just bigger. Bigger bed, bigger drawers, bigger everything. His windows are still locked, but they don't have nails in them.
"Why don't you hop in, you seem tired." He says into your ear.
It sends shivers down your back. He pushes you to get under the covers and he slides in on the other side of the bed next to you. You curl up on the very edge of the bed as far away from Nico, but he inches closer to you and puts an arm around your waist. You tense up and try to get away but his grip increases on your waist.
