Chapter V

Ok, so this one has some domestic abuse so don't read if you're easily triggered or disturbed by that stuff. K thanks bai.

You contemplate it, and you finally decide to at least get out of Dema. You open the door and step out. A blonde woman steps forward next to Josh.

"Do you remember me?" She asks.

"Not much..." You admit.

The woman embraces you in a comforting hug.

"Come on, let's get you out of here." She says, letting go. "Josh, we need to find Tyler."

"We do. Come." Josh says.

The Banditos make their way down the building until they finally reach a cell that's housing Tyler.

"Tyler, you're okay!" Josh sighs happily.

Tyler looks up at him. "Josh?"

"Yea Ty, it's me, we're gonna get you out of here." Josh says. He takes out a couple thin pieces of metal and works on picking the lock.

"Josh, you have to go."

"What? No! I'm not leaving without you. We've made it this far!"

"Josh! It's a trap! Get everyone out!"

Josh swings the door open and pulls Tyler out just as the bishops come running towards them. The Banditos race to an exit and wind their way through the tunnels. You follow along with them as Jenna pulls you along gently. You suddenly trip and Jenna's hand slips away. The Banditos rush by, not noticing you on the ground.

"Jenna!" You yell fearfully.

You try to get back up but one of the bishops reaches for you. You twist around and try to kick him but he grabs your leg and tries to pull you back. You scream as you try to get him to release you. You can't go back to Nico. He'll be so mad and god knows what he'll do.

Suddenly, the bishop ignites. Fire envelops his body and he instantly let's go. He starts to roll on the ground in agony. Jenna had hit him with her torch. She grabs your hand and helps you up before pulling you after the Banditos. Suddenly, the line of Banditos comes to a stop. Jenna pushes through the Banditos to the front, pulling you along.

Nico is blocking the only exit from the tunnel and has Josh by his throat. The Banditos are completely still; they don't know what to do. It seems as if Josh tried to attack Nico to allow the Banditos to get out. Nico is inspecting Josh, holding Josh upright.

"Nico, stop!" You shout.

You step forward in front of the Banditos. A gasp erupts from them.

"Let him go. Please. Take me instead." You say.

"Y/N, no!" You hear Jenna say.

A couple Banditos hold her back with them. You turn to the Banditos.

"Y-Y/N... d-don't..." Josh rasps.

"I'll be fine. Just go." You say. "Nico, let him go." You say calmly, turning back to him.

Nico just looks at you, then back to Josh. He says something inaudible before letting go of Josh. Josh falls to the ground coughing. A couple Banditos creep forward and help Josh up and take him back to the group. Tyler comes up to him and holds him up, supporting him. They speak with each other quietly and worriedly. You step towards Nico and he grabs the back of your neck harshly. He calls off the other bishops and drags you back to Dema.

You're thrown at the bed, tripping over yourself. Nico slams the door, causing you to flinch at the harsh sound. He grabs your shirt collar and forces you up against the wall. He pins your arms next to your head, digging his nails into your wrists.
