"Okay, we're playing truth or dare if anyone wants to play!" Lucas's voice travelled through the crowd, causing everyone to quiet down a bit.
I began to turn around, hoping to escape when all of a sudden, someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me to them. I bumped right into a surprisingly muscular chest and locked eyes with the one, the only, Lucas Beckett. He smirked at me, making my face grow instantly red. I tried to yank my arm from his grasp but he only laughed, dragging me to the large group that was already beginning to form around the fire.
"Don't think you're getting off that easy, Griffin." He chuckled as he plopped down on a small bench and dragged me down right beside him.
After everyone had settled into their spots, Lucas spoke again, "Well, Barnes, it's your big day, you pick first."
The game began simply with drinking and kissing being the most common dares. Usually the truths were along those same lines. I had been spared several times and was starting to get extremely bored when when I suddenly noticed every one staring at me.
"So, Griffin, truth or dare?" Lucas challenged.
"Dare." I smiled back at him.
"Okay," He said before raising his eyebrows. "Seven minutes in Heaven with... me." Okay, I was not expecting that.
"Fuck off." I said, earning me a quiet chuckle from the rest of the group.
"Eh, eh, eh. You can't say no in thuth or dare." We both narrowed our eyes at each other. Unfortunately, I'm very stubborn, so of couse I couldn't back down.
"Fine, Beckett. Let's go." He froze, the shock on his face making me smile triumphantly.
As I walked into the house, my eyes met with Kendall's, and she did not look happy. She's definitely going to be asking me about this later.
I made a bee-line for the Barnes' guest room and sat on the bed, waiting for Lucas. Eventually, he entered, his eyebrows knit together in confusion. I smiled and patted the bed next to me as he shut the door.
"I never expected this from you, Griffin. I must say, I am shocked. But I won-"
"We are not doing anything. This is just because I was bored."
"Wha-"
"I think we should just take this time to actually have an actual coversation, since we're going to be stuck with each other for a while." I shrugged, leaving Lucas speechless.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" He finally asked.
"I don't know, but it'd be nice to know if you have any sort of personlity, or if you're just an asshole through and through." I sighed, he laughed in response. Damn, he has a nice laugh. And smile. And- Lord, shut up already. He's Lucas fucking Beckett.
"That hurts, Griffin." He put his hand over his heart and shot me the most adorable puppy-dog eyes. Stop thinking like this and say something, dammit.
"What's your favorite color?" I blurted out, sounding like a complete idiot.
"Blue. Yours?"
"Grey."
"Grey cannot be your favorite color!" He laughed.
"Why not?"
"That's so boring! Nobody's favorite color is grey."
I sighed, "It's a relaxing color."
"You don't pick a favorite color because it's relaxing."
"Then why do you?" I yelled in annoyance.
