"Guess who has a date tonight?!"
"Oooh, who's the guy?"
"His name's Will!"
"Cute! What's he look like?"
"Yep, I have his Instagram, and we have a two week streak on Snapschat!"
I smiled to myself as my sister gushed about her newest crush. She was fourteen, so it was the small things that got her the most excited. The first week of school had ended, and I had no plan for my first weekend off. Maybe I'll call Kendall...
"Hazel! Are you listening to me?"
"What?"
"I said 'here he is!'" She said, shoving her phone closer to me face.
"He's cute." I smiled.
"That's all you have to say?!" She squeled before Dad came in, notepad in hand.
"What's going on in here?" He mumbled, immediately regretting walking in, as Clover pounced on him.
"Daddy! I have my first ever date tonight!" She screamed, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Uh- congrats?" He said, rubbing the back of his neck as Clover pulled away and looked back down at her phone.
"Really, Dad?" I scoffed.
"What?" He looked puzzled.
"Usually Dads are all protective and go all ape-shit crazy over their little girl's first boyfriend." I smirked.
"Well, it's not like I have any experience in this department." He sighed, shooting me a glare. As if on cue, Mama walked in with a beaming smile on her face. She quickly ran up to Dad and pulled him up into a tight hug before pecking him on the lips.
"He's right, baby. I think you need to start dating." She said, still in infatuated with Dad. Dad and Clover's eyes shot up, both of them breaking out into laughter, eventually I joined them.
"What?" Mama yelled.
"Sorry, honey. It's just-" Dad began.
"You think Hazel would date?" Clover asked, laughter taking over her body. "She repels them!"
"Hey! I do not!" I yelled. With that, I got up, prepared to tackle my younger sister. She dove out of the way, racing up to her room. I was hot on her heals. Lucky for her, she got into her room and locked it before I could reach her.
"Watch your back." I laughed evilly. I whistled a cheery as I paced back into my room.

"A party? Tonight?" I asked warily.
"Yesssssss, bitch! Get overrr herrrreeeeee!" Rose yelled a bit too loud into the phone.
"Are you drunk?"
"Mayyyyyybeeee!" She giggled. Ugh, I should go, at least so she doesn't do anything stupid. It was already past midnight.
"Fine, I'll go. Where is it?" I said, clearly annoyed.
"Ummmmmm... Cole Tohomson's house! Do you know where that is?"
"No."
"Issss by my house. Couldn't missssss itttt."
"Wha-" She hung up before I could as for her to clarify.
I kept with what I was wearing, considering most of the people at that party were probably blacked out, if not right then, then they were close to it. It was a simple turqoise sweatshirt, some leggings, and my Adidas sneakers.
