Ashley's POV
After saying that to Skull and hanging up I sobbed into my pillow when my mother came in.
"Is everything ok?" She says.
"Don't tell dad, but I had a girlfriend and to save her from the chance of him finding out I broke up with her." I start to cry more.
"It is ok Ashley when all this passes we can try and fix this right." She says reassuringly.
"Yeah, but the snow isn't gone for awhile unless we could find a way out Mom." I say.
"Well what could we try to do to convince him you are different." My Mom says.
"What if dad hears?" I say.
"He passed out drunk in the basement and you know how he asks to be locked in there if he gets drunk." She says smiling.
"Oh ok." I say.
"So what could we do Ashley?" She says.
"He wants me to have my friend Ace as my Boyfriend, but Ace has a boyfriend and I could call him and ask him." I suggest.
"Maybe," My Mom says, "or you could try and convince him your straight." She suggests.
"So basically just hide half of me until this is over?" I say.
"Yes Ashley and I know it will hurt, but I have even gotten tired of the abuse and we can call the police when this passes.
My door opens and my brother walks in and closes the door.
"I like the idea to be honest I can help us all." He states.
"So your with us too Jace?" I say.
"Of course then we can all be safe from this monster of a father." He says.
We all worked on plans for a few hours and then they headed downstairs while I went to sleep.
Time skip
I wake up and send a text to Ace. When I get up I head downstairs and start the plan. I sit on the couch and turn on TV. After a sometime of scrolling through the channels I turned on Chopped Junior. I was watching chopped and when I hear someone walking downstairs I say out loud.
"Damn that guy is cute." I say about a cook.
I didn't lie he was, but I loved Skull. I then thought if I fake for long enough I can be back with her.
"Good the medicine is working." My Dad says sitting next to me.
"I truly wish I could meet him one day, because hot darn." I say.
"Ok you know he is to old for your right?" My father says believing my lie.
"Actually this is Chopped Junior so they are around my age." I say.
"You beat me there, but you fall for a woman you start the mess again." He says glaring.
"Yes Sir." I say scared.
Breakfast was good, but it was tense. The day was great until my father got drunk again. It took awhile to get him in the basement, but it was worth it. I then saw a text on my phone that made me start to cry.
Aunt Rosie- your uncle died in the hospital this morning.
I started cry and I locked my door after telling my mom and brother. While crying in my room I got a call from Ace.
"What is wrong Ashley?" Ace says worried.
"I think I did something stupid." I say sniffing
"Ok what happened, because I need to know so I can help." He says.
I tell him everything that happened and what is going on and then he speaks up.
"You need to relax this will be over soon." He says.
"Thanks Ace and when this passes help me talk to Skull and Carter please." I say.
"I can do my best Ashley." He says and then I hear something zip up.
"V WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU PUT MY CLOTHES!" Someone yells.
"Well Carter I didn't touch you cloths I have been talking to Ashley." I hear him say and I laugh.
"Well Carter if you can hear me I heard something get zipped up." I say giggling.
"I FUCKING KNEW IT ACE YOU BITCH!" He whisper yells.
"No I am not the bitch you are I am the Alpha." Ace says jokingly.
"OMG you two are to much." I laugh.
"Ace if I didn't love you I would have killed you." Carter says and then I hear a slap.
"Owww, Pup why did you do that?" Ace says sarcastically.
"Because you deserved it." Carter says.
"Fair and your cloths are in the art closet." Ace says.
"You two know a way to cheer someone up, yet you don't seem to notice you two are a bit comedic for a sad person." I say laughing.
The three of us talk for a bit when I unlock my door and sit down on my bed talking to them when my mom walks in.
"Ok bye guys I got to go." I say.
"Bye Ashley." They both say before hanging up.
"Yes Mom?" I say.
"Well the snow should be cleared by Friday." She says smiling.
"OMG Yes and today is Thursday." I say happily.
I hug her and head downstairs happily. When I get downstairs everything gets calmer and I enjoy knowing I will be free.
Short chapter, crazy time skip I think I wrote, love story, and something happening soon. I actually love the fact that I get to write this type of stuff it helps me relax and let out everything that is bottled up. Maybe this December will be better and maybe my 2019 will be good too and I can start to learn D&D when I am on Christmas Break and also do some caroling. Mid-Terms are soon and one of them is a presentation and that will make it so much easier. Welp now to go and make the next chapter and we can maybe make this book something else.
