Los Angeles, California

11: 49 PM

The airport was busy and everyone was running around, flying in and out of the familiar LAX. Fans and paparazzi were lined up everywhere outside, trying to get pictures of celebrities as they entered or exited the airport. Luke and Skylar didn't know of any celebrities that were supposed to be there that day, except for Luke, but the fans were hardly paying attention to him. There must've been someone else more popular than Luke.

Luke shrugged it off, partly thankful that they wouldn't attack him, and tugged Skylar along behind him, entering the building as the memories literally spit in his face.

"This is where our very, very first physical contact was," Luke pointed out, using his free hand to gesture at the door area where he ran into her years ago. It still bugged Luke to that day that he didn't even appologize to her for bumping into her.

"Yeah, when you almost ran me over and that cute boy Mikey had to run to my resque," Skylar teased, knowing that Luke still got upset when she'd say anything about the colorful headed boy.

"I see how it is," Luke said, releasing Skylar's hand as he started walking away from her and towards the front doors.

"You big baby," Skylar mumbled under her breathe as she caught up to Luke and grabbed his hand again. "You know I'm just teasing. I love you and only you."

Luke stopped walking and refused to look at her at first, but when she said that last part, a cute smile breaks out over his face. He looked at her and pecked her lips for a second before intertwining their hands together and continuing their walk to the automatic doors.

The airport had changed a lot, new colors and furniture and they even added some walls here and there, probably for some extra rooms. Even though the place looked new, Luke and Skylar could still see the memories of the place. A thing that hasn't changed are the chairs that they sat on and played 21 questions.

"Come on," Luke said, slowly walking out of the doors. It was late and the couple had been flying all damn day. Luke was tired and he knew that Skylar was too.

They walked out of the airport doors and luckily, there was cab waiting there, the driver leaning against the hood of the car with a cigarette dangling from his fingers. The man saw the two and gestured towards them, asking them if they needed a ride.

Luke didn't like this guy. He wore a white tank top with yellow stains all over it and his hairline was slightly pushed backwards, obviously balding from age. The dark bags under his eyes made him look like he hasn't had proper sleep in years and that thought made Luke uncomfortable. He wasn't sure if he wanted Skylar getting a car with a man like that driving.

When Skylar squeezed Luke's hand after noticing his hesitation, he nodded at the man and the couple loaded themselves into the backseat.

Skylar noticed how tensed Luke was, so she tried making him relax by saying, "Do you remember when I wouldn't leave the airport? God I was stubborn."

Luke laughed and hugged her from the side, squeezing her as he thought back to the day. Skylar refused to leave the airport because she got herself to believe something was going to happen and somehow their plane would come and get them.

The man sunk into the drivers seat and asked Luke where they were going.

"The Coach Hotel, please," Luke replied, hugging Skylar tighter as if to protect her. He looked down at her and saw that she was giving him a questionable look. "That's the hotel we stayed in," he whispered to her, hoping that the man - whose name is Ricky - wouldn't hear.
