It concerned Skylar how much Luke had changed and not changed at the same time. His old jerk-ish ways are completely gone, vanished as if they've never been there and that he's never even slept with a girl, but his childish, little kid self was still there. Even with the fact that he was almost 24, he enjoyed childish games.

Luke bounced into the arcade, hand in hand with Skylar and tugging her along behind him. They could already tell that the place looked different from the outside for the walls were painted differently, and then when they entered the building, they saw that the games were set up in a different order and there was a wider selection of the action machines. Nothing about the place looked like it did when they first visited the arcade; it was completely changed.

Luke wasn't very disappointed by this change, though, because it was still an arcade. Their arcade to be exact. And there was still videogames, meaning that they could still have fun.

Skylar's hands were itching with the want of Pac-Man. She sucks at the game - more like video games in general - but it's so fun and she had been wanting to play for what feels like forever.

Her boyfriend knew how much she loved the game, so the first thing he did was go over to a token machine in a corner and got as many as he could without making himself broke.

Even the token machine has changed. Luke didn't have to hold them in his hands this time and instead, he got a little bucket that the tokens were dispenced into, a much easier way of holding them. Luke was pretty sure they got a few complaints from customers about having to hold the tokens, so they thought of something new.

He returned to Skylar after grabbing his bucket of tokens and saw that she was looking around for the game that she loved. Honestly it was no use, the entire place had a new look and Pac-Man was no where to be seen.

Luke walked over to where the game used to be located in hopes that it might be in that area, but with their luck, it wasn't anywhere. But there was a game that Luke has always loved as a child and he almost dropped the bucket from excitment.

"Can we play that? Please, baby," he begged her, giving her puppy-dog eyes that he knew she couldn't say no too.

Skylar couldn't help the sigh that escaped her lips. He is so unfair always using the thing he knows she can't say no to. He has the cutest face. "Sure."

Luke literally jumped in excitment as he grabbed Skylar's hand with his free one and tried his best not to run to the machine that took Pac-man's place. Sure he felt bad, but this game is amazing.

"Ready...go!" The machine demanded and Skylar and Luke both pressed down on their petals, sending their vertual cars down the race track in an attempt to beat each other.

Luke wanted to win this stupid race. Maybe he could show Skylar that his racing skills were better than his landing skills - he was still disappointed in himself for that landing.

It was after many turns and hills and bridges that Skylar reached the finish line, the huge blinking 'WINNER' on Skylar's screen was mocking Luke, who sat there as his screen blinked out a big 'LOSER.' He was dumb-founded that Skylar had beat him. Not only was he sure she'd never played the game, but because she sucks at videogames.

"Look who's the loser," Skylar teased, starring at Luke who was still sitting there looking pretty angry that he lost to his girlfriend.

"You cheated. You used your stupid power thing at the last second," Luke tried to defend himself - or perhaps try and keep the last dignity that he had.

He stood up, done with the stupid car came with it's stupid name. Car Curve 4. What kind of name is that? Luke rolled his eyes as he took hold of the bucket and waited for Skylar to stand up.

When she did, Luke regretted waiting for her because she said, "Awe, is Lukebaby mad because he lost a game to a little girl?"

He rolled his eyes for the second time and replied with, "Stop it, Skylar."

She replied with a simple, "Fine," and stopped teasing him, knowing that he'd get upset if she continued.

They were still standing by the game they just got done with when Luke let out a little chuckle and turned to Skylar with a smirk on his face. "This is the first place I've ever touched your butt."

"What?" Skylar asked, starring at her boyfriend with a confused expression.

"I slapped your butt in this arcade for the first time ever," he replied while wrapping his arms around her waist and sliding his hands straight to her butt, the cold bucket pressing against her leg making her a little uncomfortable.

"Luke," Skylar warned, not wanting any kids to walk by and see Luke squeezing at her ass.

Skylar remembered the time she saw a little bit of public display of affection and the thought made her want to shudder at the image.

Luke let out a low chuckle, one that sent chills throughout Skylar, and then released her.

"Pac-Man," Skylar said simply as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. As if asking the question 2+2 to a college student.

"Pac-Man," Luke repeated, grabbing Skylar's hand to start their journey to the desk where Luke was planning on asking someone where the game was.

It took a while to find to the desk, but when they finally found it, the colors of it were a bright yellow and red and Luke didn't understand how they missed it in the first place. The man stood behind the desk, where all the prizes were located - another thing that was different about the arcade. The man was different than the last time they visited and this fact didn't surprise Luke or Skylar. He was pretty old and Luke was expecting him to of at least retired already.

"May I help you?" The man, Robbin - Luke read his name tag - asked, looking the very least interested in the people walking up to him.

It's funny seeing a man who looked so bored in a place full of fun, Skylar thought and then said, "Yes, we were wondering where the Pac-Man game is located."

"Pac-Man?" Robbin asked, looking almost shocked that she'd ask of such a thing. "We replaced that game so long ago."

And with that, Skylar's hopes and dreams shattered. Withering away as if never to be accoplished or seen again. Skylar wanted to cry.

"Okay. Thank you, Robbin," Luke said, grabbing Skylar's hand and walking away from the desk, but he eventually stopped because he noticed that Skylar looked as if her attention was away from Pac-Man and was now turned towards a picture on the wall.

The picture was of the man that was here when Skylar and Luke spent their 24 hours together and under the picture said, 'R.I.P. Bob Tompkin- proud owner and employer of 24-Stay-Arcade.'

Luke looked at Skylar after realizing what it meant and noticed little tears running down her face.
