Skylar relaxed a lot more as she laid down on the soft matress, the coolness of the lonely bed only relaxed her further and the cold pillow felt like an icepack against her head.

"I have some medicine in my bag, babe," Luke said as he walked across the room to the single backpack he brought. He unzipped it, almost ripping it for the second time but this time it was out of conern and not excitement. He just wanted to get his girlfriend some medicine.

After stuffing his hand into the bag, diving past clothes and good smelling stuff, he found the pill bottle and poured out two pills, hoping that what Skylar had would be able to be cured by ibuprofen. He grabbed one of the many water bottles from the fancy minifridge and handed both the pills and the water to Skylar. She looked green, concerning Luke more than he already was.

"Thank you," she said. She didn't know why she felt so sick, but the feeling in her stomach was just awful and she wanted it gone.

She quickly swollowed the pills and then set the water aside before laying back down on the comfortable bed. She just wanted to sleep. It was nine and she was feeling so out of energy. She felt guilty for making her and Luke skip the beach, but if she had to walk anywhere with this feeling in her stomach, she would throw up everywhere.

"Do you want anything else? Do you want a soda or some chips from the front desk? If you need anything, Skybaby, you can tell me," Luke said, worry was mixed into his voice as he brushed a piece of her hair from her face.

Skylar was thankful for someone like Luke. Someone who stuck by her even though everything seems to mess up when it envolves her.

He's so carrying and he's so sweet and she's so lucky. She knows that. Her luck hasn't really been on her side throughout her life, but the fact that her luck put her on that plane, the same plane as Luke, meant that her luck was finally being nice.

"No thank you," she said and the words felt so unsatisfying. As if she should say something more to Luke about how thankful she actually was that he had asked that simple question.

"Okay," Luke simply responded. He pulled the blanket back from under Skylar and squeezed into the bed with her, covering the two of them up.

Luke wasn't sure if what Skylar had was contagious or not, but he couldn't care less as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into him, making the feeling that he loves spread through him.

He was concerned, to say the least, she was sick at a special time and he knew that he would over think things again and get angry at the fact that something on this trip made her sick.. But at that moment, he couldn't think about the anger because his girlfriend was sick and all he wanted to do was make her better. And since he couldn't actually make her better, he would be there for her to get her whatever she needs.

After awhile of sitting there, deep in thought, Luke felt Skylar slowly relax and he knew she was asleep. He smiled to himself for no particular reason and pulled back enough to get a look at her.

Her cheek was squished due to the pillow under her head and her hair was falling on her face - that is, until Luke fixed it and kissed her quickly on the forehead.

Once again Luke was caught in the thought of how grateful he was for her. If the boys wouldn't have sent him off to become a better person, he wouldn't have met the girl sleeping in front of him. He would have never gotten on that flight and got in an agrument with a random girl about a window seat. And he wouldn't have fallen in love with said girl in only 24 hours.

It was crazy how much he loved her. He craved for her company and he craved for her happiness. That's why he wants this trip to go great. He wants to make this proposal the best one ever because that's what she deserves. Something great.

But Luke looses his temper too quickly about small things and he takes his anger out on Skylar all too much. He isn't great. He can be a dick at times and it makes him feel guilty when he does things like the stuff he's done on this trip so far. She deserves so much better than Luke, but he's too stubborn to let her go.

He's going to try to become better for her. He's going to try to keep his anger at its smallest because he feels like something is changing in Skylar. He knows that she wants him to tell her why he's so upset at everything messing up, but he can't tell her and he knows it's taking a tole on her.

As Luke's thoughts were taking over, making him feel like complete crap, sleep engulfed him into not so great of a dream.

Skylar too was in deep thoughts before she fell asleep and her thoughts weren't all that different from his.

She wished that there was some way to make things better for him. She wished that she was smart enough to figure out the reason he was so upset.

That's all she wanted was for this trip to actually go great because Luke really wanted it to. And Luke deserves everything great and so far, Skylar can admit, a lot of things on this trip hasn't gone so well, but Skylar continues to hope. She believes that things will be okay while Luke seems to think that everything will continue going down hill.

She knew that she had hope that things would go okay, but if Luke continues to act this way, she's pretty sure that that hope would soon disappear.
