The old diner that Luke and Skylar have known for a long time looked almost the exact same, except for a little older. The once bright paint of the building now looked old and chipped. But other than the old paint job and the creaky furniture, Luke was quite pleased. Since the diner looked the same, the memories were easier to remember.

At the thought of memories, Luke looked over to the table he remembered them sitting at and the image of the young couple came back to him.

Those times when he made jokes about making out with her again, and when he simply put his feet inbetween Skylar's.

Luke never told her this, but he loved those little touches that would happen between them. Whether it was them shoving each other with their shoulders or holding hands, Luke loved it.

The couple knew where they would sit so they easily made their way over to the table that they haven't sat in for years.

When a woman named Deb - someone who you would expect to see in a run down diner like this one - came to the table and asked for their orders, Skylar had ordered a simple hamburger with ketchup while Luke had ordered a cheesburger with extra cheese and no lettuce.

When the lady walked away, taking their menus and simply walking off, Luke found himself smiling at Skylar. He felt more in the spirit of this trip and for once, something seemed to be going right.

Even the walk to the diner was amazing. The wind had finally dimmed down, leaving a nice breeze and the sun was setting, leaving colors cascading across the sky. The colors of yellow, orange, purple, blue, and pink stretched out and painted the sky as if the sky was it's canvas. Luke would be lying if he said that him and Sky didn't stop every once in awhile to take a picture or two.

Luke got an idea and pulled out his phone. He's forgotten to do something through out this trip and since he had remembered, he wasn't going to skip the chance of getting a picture of his girlfriend at a special place.

Luke pulled his phone out of his pocket and pulled the camera up from the lock screen, aiming it at Skylar from across the table. She had noticed of course and at first tried to hide but then figured that she shouldn't. She smiled at the camera and once it was taken Luke put his phone away and grabbed Skylar's hand.

"You're beautiful," he said, making a light blush rise in Skylar's cheeks.

It made manly moths gather in Luke's stomach at the fact that he could still make her blush even though they've been together for almost five years. It makes him thankful that nothing in their relationship really gets old.

"Stop," she said after a while. Her chin was rested in the palm of her hand as her elbow rested on the table, the blush on her cheeks and the smile on her lips never ceasing.

Luke felt thankful for someone like Skylar - a girl who stuck by him no matter how big of a dick he could be at times.

After a few minutes of silence, Deb brought out the couple's orders and then left, without a word. Luke found it odd, really. He expected some kind of greeting or maybe even a, "Enjoy your meal," but the woman said nothing.

Luke smiled at the food and then smiled at Skylar and once he saw her looking at her food, he stuck his feet inbetween hers, much like the last time they were at this restaurant.

"Don't choke," Skylar said to Luke after she had realized that Luke had already started eating. After the words had lefft her mouth, Luke laughed and then she started eating. The two of them eating their food as if they had never heard of such a thing.
