Chapter 2

Leighton's POV

We both fell asleep and the next day after we had breakfast I left Abbey's house.

As I got home I walked through the door right as Jack and Jack ended a new vine.

"Seriously!" Jack said, "that took like 3 trys! Now we're gonna have to do it again."

"Let me watch it." I say.

Jack hands me his phone and I watch the vine. at the end, the door slightly opened.

"It barely shows the door opening calm down." I say and go to the pantry and grab some Cheez - Its.

"Don't eat too much your gonna get fat!" Jack G says.

I give him the bird. (if you don't get that it means flip off.)

"What the heck Leighton." my annoying and overprotective brother says.

"I can do what I want," I say and go to my room.

I flop on my bed and call Abbey. she answers and I talk.

"Omg Abbey guess what happened!"

"Oo girl what happened this time." she says with excitement.

"Okay so I was getting food and Jack was like 'don't eat too much your gonna get fat' and then I flipped him off!" I say with pure joy.

"Wow Leigh haha bravo. Hey so I have to go my parents are having their friends over and I have to communicate ugh I'll talk to you later." she says.

"OMG love ya abs okay bye." I say.

"Bye Leigh." she says and hangs up.

I look at the clock and already it's 8. I decide to take a shower.

After I'm done with my shower I wrapped my hair in a towel and dried off and put another towel around my body. I walked out of the bathroom and into my room and turned on my light and screamed.

"What the heck Jack?" I say and try to cover the rest of my body with my arms.

He walked up to me and pinned me to the wall and before I know it I feel a pair of lips on mine. I felt sparks, no, fireworks. He broke it apart and walked out of my room. What the heck?

I wake up the next day and get dressed and go downstairs to eat breakfast. I see Jack and grab a granola bar.

"Hey sis," he says.

"Hey," I say, "where's Jack?" I say.

"He left last night why you care so much?" he asks.

"I don't care I was just wondering because it's weird to not see him here." I say. Half of it was true, half of it was so he wouldn't think I liked his best friend.

"Oh ok, yeah he had this big smile on his face and said he had to go." Jack says.

"Oh." I say and scream in my head. He liked the kiss! Wait..what the heck. I hate Jack.. right?
