Time seemed to pass painfully slow as the figure hidden in the shadows regarded the chessboard with sharp eyes, shining with a glint of craziness. An obsession so deep that it would make the bravest person tremble in their step.

The stranger grinned wickedly as they held up the king and queen in either hand, eyeing them with distaste before lifting their gaze up to observe a man who was trying his best to not quiver in front of the possessed being. Possessed by what the being would think is passion but for everyone else who could see it, the being was possessed by a sick obsession.

"How much longer must I wait?" the being spoke, leaning into the dim light which outlined their defined features that were undeniably beautiful "not much longer, everything is nearly in place. He suspects nothing" the man responded with a slight stutter to his voice "don't keep me waiting too long, I can hardly contain myself anymore" the being chuckled sinisterly and dismissed the man, who bowed before rushing out of the room in an attempt to escape from the stifling power of the being inside the room. The being was dangerous indeed and the man couldn't help but feel pity for the people who the being had decided to target.

After all, the dead should stay dead but when the rule of nature is defied, all hell shall break loose.

The being smirked mischievously as they tossed the chess pieces aside, their mind filled with thoughts of the destruction of the unsuspecting couple who were living in bliss.

"Holy Crap!"

My eyes flew open and I rolled out of the bed I was laying in, my body making contact with the hard floor and I looked up at the door, blinking repeatedly to drive the sleep away.

"Yuki? You have got to stop bursting into my room like this" I groaned, pushing myself up into a sitting position and resting on the palms of my hand before I looked around warily.

Wait a minute...

I squeaked in shock and jumped up from the floor, my back hitting the wall as I gaped at the pureblood who was leisurely sitting up in the bed I was in just mere seconds ago. Kaname focused his garnet orbs on me and a small lazy smile tugged on his lips as he ran his fingers through his messy hair.

I'm going to die.

Death from an overdose of hotness...

Last night's events registered in my mind and I blushed bright red as I glanced at Yuki and Zero who had their jaws open as they looked between Kaname and I. Zero cleared his throat and picked his jaw up from the floor once he noticed my gaze on them before he nudged Yuki lightly but it had no effect on the said female as she was still gawking at us.

Her gaze froze on me as she ran her eyes down my body, taking my attire in and I followed shortly after, wondering what had her awestruck like that. My blush deepened as I was still in Kaname's clothes and I could just hear the gears turning in my sister's head.

Wait, the scars!

Blinking in delayed shock, I quickly dashed across the room and slammed the bathroom door behind me before rushing over to the mirror. My mortified face looked back at me but my expression soon relaxed into a softer one as I hesitantly brought my hand to my face.

I gasped softly as my eyes scanned my reflection, running over every inch of skin which was now devoid of any scar or mark. I gingerly brushed my fingers along my cheekbone and then looked at my hand.
