The Beginning ~Kaname Kuran love story~

~Chapter 11~

"Ready?" Yuki smiled leaning against the wall connecting our rooms "yup" I smiled back as we walked out of the dorm with our supplies.
It's been three days since that incidence with Kaname and I've been avoiding him ever since then, don't ask why because I really don't have a answer.
Yuki got a good kick from teasing me about my 'date' with Kaname during dinner that night, even though I denied her stubborn belief that it was a date. Speaking of dinner, it was a success and now Zero and I have shared kitchen duties. Yuki and the chairman literally had tears of joy flowing from their eyes as they ate dinner that night. I smiled at the memory, they were really something else.
"Hello ladies" Aidou smirked popping in front of us as we walked towards the main building "What are you doing outside?" I questioned noticing that he was in his uniform "I'm here with Ichijo who was with Kaname-sama a while ago" he answered looking around at the empty courtyard with a pout.
I raised a eyebrow questioningly "where are all the girls?" Aidou whined which made me sigh and look over at Yuki who sweat dropped "in class" I said as if it were the most obvious thing "I'll go there then" but before I could stop him, a yell caught our attention.
"Yuki!" A strangely familiar girl with light brown hair and brown eyes called running over to us "Yori!" Yuki took off to meet her in the middle where they both embraced each other.
I smiled at the sight but noticed Aidou smiling at them too "why are you looking at them like that?" I laughed as he seemed to snap out of a daze.
"Would you rather I look at you like that?" he smirked leaning towards me "no thank you" I put my hand on his chest pushing him away but gasped in shock when my hand was covered with ice.
"Seriously?" I deadpanned at Aidou who was smirking "remove the ice" Yuki ordered coming up to us with Yori "as you wish" Aidou sighed and I pulled my hand away glaring at him.
I turned to face Yuki and her friend "Yori this is-" Yuki started to introduce me but Yori cut her off by embracing me tightly. My eyes widened and I looked at Yuki who looked just as confused as I felt.
"Where had you gone Kayu-chan?!" Yori demanded releasing me...kayu-chan?
I gasped as a grin broke out on my face "Oh my God! Yo-chan?!" I questioned excitedly not believing my eyes "yes, it's me! You had me worried sick" Yori chastised "sorry" I grinned sheepishly.
"You two know each other?" Yuki questioned with a smile "yea, we were in the same school when we were younger. Then I moved to another foster home" I explained swallowing the lump in my throat.
"She was my best friend then" Yori added which made me smile.
"Well now all three of us can be best friends. Yori this is my sister Misaki" Yuki smiled slinging an arm around my shoulder.
"You finally found your biological family, I'm glad" Yori sighed in relief which made my eyebrows furrow in confusion "Actually, the headmaster adopted me" I clarified and Yori looked at Yuki shocked and then back at me.
I looked behind me to see that Aidou was still there staring at Yori "Aidou?" I questioned snapping him out of his daze again "huh?"
I laughed at his expression whilst he scowled at me "I'm heading back, tell Ichijo that I went back. God knows where that damn guy disappears all the time" Aidou grumbled turning on his heel and storming back to the night class "okay?"
Yori looked at Aidou's retreating figure before turning back to us "it's unusual seeing that he doesn't harass you anymore Yuki" Yori laughed "he's after Misaki now" Yuki sighed but before any of us could say anything, my name was yelled out "Misaki-chan!".
I looked around to see Takuma waving at me frantically "I'll meet you two in class" I smiled before walking over to Takuma who was hiding behind a bush "seriously?" I laughed taking in his posture "as serious as a heart attack" Takuma stuck his tongue out at me "get down" he grasped my wrist and pulled me down to sit next to him.
"Hi" he grinned and I smiled gently "hey"
Takuma smiled back with warmth and reached to his side "I got these for you" he said handing me a few mangas and CD's "Takuma-kun" I gasped as I looked at them. It contained mangas such as noblesse, naruto, one piece, bleach and one called love so life. The CD's consisted of Naruto, Tokyo Ghoul and Ao no exorcist.
"I can't take these" I said shaking my head "please I insist, take it as a gift for the commemoration of our friendship" he smiled pleadingly. I looked at him and then at the mangas and animes before reaching over and giving him a hug "thank you" I smiled pulling away "it's not a problem" he grinned blushing slightly.
The bell rang signalling that it was time for me to get to class "I'll see you later" I smiled picking up his gifts and getting up before offering him a hand to get up which he gladly accepted "yeah, I can't wait" he grinned kissing my cheek before walking towards the moon dorms.
I laughed shaking my head before heading to class, he seriously was something else...he gave off a brotherly aura which is why that kiss on the cheek had no effect on me, because I could sense that he only meant it as a friend, as a brother.
It seemed as if though, I forgot about the fact that Aidou mentioned that Kaname was here too and he wasn't necessarily the happiest vampire at this point of time.
I shrugged off the feeling that I was being watched and bounded to class as to not be late.
"You just made it in time,what's all that?" Yuki questioned taking in the load I was carrying in my arms "Takuma-kun gave them to me as a gift to commemorate our friendship" I chuckled as I remembered his explanation "is he your boyfriend?" Yori asked and I shook my head "not at all, he's more like a brother" I shrugged smiling at her "well don't you just kick everyone straight into the bro zone" she laughed but Yuki didn't let her misconception last "not all. My brother and her seem to always have a moment and they even went on a date on the sly" Yuki laughed.
I groaned dropping my head on the desk "it wasn't a date" my voice came out muffled making Yuki and Yori burst into a fit of laughter "where's Zero?" I asked looking for him "behind you".
I looked at where the source of the voice came from to see Zero behind us with a scowl on his face "couldn't you have stayed with your grandma for another year or so?" he grumbled looking at Yori "no, I need to be here with my best friend when she's dating a reckless guy like you"
Yikes...blunt as always I see.
I smiled as I took in the scene in front of me; Zero was bickering with Yori whilst she slammed him with insults calmly and Yuki was trying to break them apart. Looking down at my hands, I couldn't help but thank my lucky stars that I've gotten such a wonderful family and to top it all off Yori is back with three weeks to spare for Christmas....Crude!
I have to buy Yori a gift but how will I sneak out?
I can't even ask Kaname because I don't know how I'll face him, after that near experience kiss, I'm baffled as to what I'm feeling.
I didn't get much time to dwell in my thoughts as the teacher walked in ready to start the class and this time, I tried my hardest to stay awake since finals are coming up in a week.
