It was the next morning. Dallon woke up and felt something around his waist. It was an arm. Brendon must've turned in his sleep and didn't realize he did that. But he was really close. Almost cuddled up to Dallon. He didn't really think it was a big deal until he realized how big this bed was. It was a king sized bed that could probably hold 4 people, but Brendon was this close to Dallon. He turned slightly red. He felt the other boy start to shift a bit. "Morning," he said tiredly. "Morning." They both sat up. "Is it weird that I asked you to stay the night?" Dallon chuckled. "It's okay. You were drunk." He looked over at the boy who was slightly red. "It's just that you seem like a really cool person, not to mention you're cute, and I feel like I made you uncomfortable, and-" Dallon cut him off. "It's okay. You didn't make me uncomfortable. You seem really cool too." They both smiled as Brendon got out of bed. "Do you want some coffee? Or breakfast? I could make you something if you want." Dallon smiled at his effort to make him feel at home. "Do you have Dr. Pepper?" Brendon smiled. "Duh! Who in their right mind wouldn't?" The both laughed as Brendon slipped on a hoodie. "I'll be in the kitchen." He left the room, leaving Dallon to his thoughts. He felt like he was starting to get feelings for him, but he wasn't sure since he barely knows anything about him. This is going to be an interesting adventure. Dallon got up and changed back into what he was wearing yesterday. He walked into the kitchen which was, just like the rest of the house, very nice. Brendon was at the counter, going through his phone. Next to him were two bottles of Dr. Pepper. He smiled. "You have a nice house, ya know?" He opened one of the bottles and took a sip. Brendon smiled. "Thank you. It's nice, but it's lonely." He nodded and looked around. "Not to come off strong, but why don't you have a boyfriend?" He chuckled at the question. "I'm a second boy, just like you." Dallon raised an eyebrow. "Really?" Brendon took a sip. "Yeah, his name was Ryan. Funny coincidence, huh? Anyways, it was either me or this other girl I didn't even know. He chose his reputation over me." Dallon frowned. "I'm sorry." Brendon shrugged. "It's okay. If that relationship worked out, I never would've had a chance with you." He winked at Dallon, leaving him a blushing mess. "S-So, tell me a bit about yourself. The only thing I really know is that you like to make random bets in bars." They both laughed at the little remark. "Well, my name is Brendon. I was born in Utah, I have two brothers and two sisters, I'm the youngest, I like writing songs, I'm 22, and I can make high heels work better than most girls." Dallon laughed. "Your turn pretty boy. What are you like?" Dallon smiled at the pretty boy remark. "Well, I'm Dallon. I was born in Missouri but later moved to Salt Lake City. I have a sister named Elle. I'm also 22. I know way too much about comic books, and I love music." Brendon smiled. "You're adorable, ya know?" Dallon blushed. "I'm really not, but thank you." Brendon giggled. "You know I'm right." He took one last sip of Dr. Pepper and started to walk over to Dallon. "You doing anything today?" He thought for a minute. "I don't think so. Why?" Brendon shrugged. "Just curious. Hey, what instruments do you play?" Dallon turned more towards Brendon. "Um... bass, for sure. Piano, ukulele, guitar. I can kind of sing." The other boys face lit up. "I wanna hear you play something!" Dallon looked down. "I don't know. I haven't performed for anyone befo-" Brendon cut him off by putting a finger on his chin and making his eyes meet his. "Don't worry, I don't judge. I wanna hear your music." Dallon sighed. "Okay, okay. Do you have a bass?" Brendon got all excited and started running to a room. Dallon followed. I'm in way over my head.

He followed him into a music room. He had so many instruments. Dallon felt like he was in heaven. Brendon handed him a bass and sat down, obviously excited. Dallon laughed. "I wrote this about a year ago, so it might not be good." Brendon rolled his eyes. "Just play!"

Dallon started playing a steady beat.
"Every girl from here to Soho, loves to tell me things I don't know. Beautiful and smart, and not good for me,at all."He looked up to see Brendon on the edge of his seat. He smiled and started to sing the next verse. "All your boyfriends go to film school. Nathan was in plays in high school. Me? I'm going to play the imbecile, who keeps choosing you, even though you're bi-polar and you're selfish: I hate you! Ahhh!" Brendon chuckled at the scream while Dallon turned red. "Everyone is better than me, I think
everyone is better than, better than me. Everyone is better than, better than me. Hey, hey! Oh, hey!" He played a little solo, and looked up at Brendon. He was interested in what I was going to sing. Oh shit. "Look what you've done, now I'm a mess. Today I even thought I'd wear a dress. It's beautiful, so smart and no good for me, at all..." It's almost over, Dal. Just one more verse. "Yeah! Everyone is better than me, I think. Throw your hands up if you agree with me. Now everyone is better than me, I think everyone is better than, better than me. Better than, oh hey, come on now! Oh, oh! Whoa, whoa! Whoa!" He ended the song and looked at Brendon, who was applauding. "Okay, first of all, you have an amazing voice. My gay heart can't take it. Second of all, no one is better than you, because you're perfect." Dallon blushed. "Thanks.." Brendon had a concerned look on his face. "Was this song about, what's her name.. um, Breezy?" Dallon nodded. "She was always bragging about other guys, and I wasn't in a very healthy mindset." Brendon shook his head. "Don't worry about her. You can do better." He winked, which made Dallon feel like he was hinting at something.

After a few more hours of hanging out at Brendon's, mostly talking about music, Dallon had to go home. "Wait, before you go, can I have your number?" Dallon said yes and put his contact in his phone. Dallon😉 The other boy giggled at the emoji and put his phone in his pocket. "Okay, look. This might be awkward, but I'll hate myself for the rest of the night if I don't do this. So." He hugged Dallon, tight too. Dallon hugged back, almost not wanting to let go. "Well, I'll see you around." Brendon waved bye as he closed his door. Dallon couldn't help but smile all the way home.
