"Anyways, like I said, you would be the last person Pepper would want to be with." Nonnie stated as she puts the books into the closet shelf.
Keegan gritted his teeth. It irritated him that she was still talking shit about him liking Pepper, which he didn't anymore. It was all a phase.
She then groans. "Ugh! Why did she want us to do this? No one even uses this classroom."
"Stop complaining, you're so annoying," Keegan rolls his eyes, giving her a new set of books from a box. "All you do is talk, talk, talk, shut up for once. I didn't ask to be here either."
Nonnie just clicked her tongue and snatched the books from his hand in response. Keegan chose to ignore it or he would've slammed her against the wall or something.
She quickly shoves them on the shelf and that's when Keegan decided to play a little game with her. He had to admit he was so bored.
And it was to just mess around with her. It wasn't like she didn't deserve it, the girl was a serious bitch.
"Anymore books?" She looked over.
Keegan pretends to see something behind her and she narrows her eyes.
"What?"
Keegan doesn't answer and looks even harder. Nonnie glares. "Oh my god, what are you staring at?"
"I think I see something, check if there are books in that little corner." He points. She just crosses her arms.
"You do it. I'm going to class." She says, walking past him to leave. But in the process, he catches her arm and pulls out two five dollar bills.
She goes to hit him to let her go but her eyes immediately focus on the money. They slightly sparkle for a moment.
"If you want it, go check for books back there," Keegan widely smirked. "Look, it's not even that far in."
Her eyes glance over to the darker part of the closet, she felt a little nervous. She really shouldn't trust him. "No, I think I'll pass."
Keegan pushes her slightly back into the closet and she squirms to get away from him. He pulls out another five and puts it with the others, he holds the money out.
"You're going to turn down fifteen dollars when you could quickly check for any books and then get them? I'll be right here."
"Why can't you do it though?" She questions, confused. "It's not scary or anything..."
"Then do it! It'll only take a couple of seconds. Then you'll get the money." Keegan says, getting frustrated. This girl was stubborn.
Nonnie thought. I mean, it was money she was about to get. She could just peak around and then take it. She just sighs and starts backing up. "Fine."
