New Year's Eve
11:47 PM

Your POV

"Give me back my phone, Blue," I said as I chased the younger girl around the living room. Once I caught up to her, I picked her up, snatched my phone and threw her over my shoulder.

"Put me down, Y/N!" she yelled out and hit my back with her little fist. I threw her down on the sofa and walked away. I felt someone tugging on my pants leg. I looked down to see Sir pulling on my pants to get my attention.

"What do you want, baby boy?" I asked him and he raised his arms up. I picked him up and gave him kisses. He squealed and accepted all of the kisses. I stopped to let him catch his breath.

"You ready for a new year, baby?" I asked him and he just giggled putting his pacifier back in his mouth. I shook my head and sat down in the kitchen where there was barely anyone. My phone vibrated and I saw that it was a text from Normani. I read it and put my phone on the countertop.

"Still ignoring her?" my mom asked as she walked into the kitchen.

"I'm not ignoring her. I'm just not talking to her."

"So you're ignoring her?" she asked again.

"Maybe," I replied leaning into her touch.

"Why are you ignoring her?"

"Because she made me mad."

"How'd she make you mad, baby?"

"Some girl can't up to me being rude and whatnot, so I told her something back. Normani told me that it was mean and that I should've been the bigger person, but I wasn't about to let her just think she could come up to me and say anything. Then I left."

"Just talk to the girl," my mom said giving me a kiss on the cheek and leaving out of the kitchen. I sighed and replied to the text message from Normani.

"Do you think I should've replied?" I asked Sir, who just shrugged his shoulders and continued to caress my cheek with his tiny little hand.

"Well you're no help," I told him. My phone dinged and I checked it. It was a text from Normani asking if I would meet her somewhere. I replied telling her that I would after a few hours. Sir let out a big yawn and got comfortable in my arms.

"You just love falling asleep on me," I said. He let out a soft giggle and relaxed. A few minutes later, he was knocked out.

"What's on your bucket list for the new year, baby girl?" Jay asked as her walked into the kitchen.

"I don't know," I replied.

"We should go sky diving," he suggested.

"Okay," I answered.

"Y'know, I'm really happy that you're apart of our family now. I love you," he said and kissed my forehead. I felt small and safe whenever he did. He gave me Rumi and I gave him Sir. She immediately started giggling and grabbed my face.

"What's so funny?" I asked her and she stopped giggling before looking at my face. She pulled my face to her, so that I'd kiss her face.

"Happy New Year,"everyone in the living room said. Rumi gave me a slobbery kiss on the cheek and giggled.

"You're lucky you're cute," I told her and stood up with her in my arms. She continues gave me kisses until she let out a loud yawn.

"Sounds like you're ready for bed," I said handing her to my mother. I waited an hour or two before texting Normani a place for us to meet up.
