Later that night...
Your POV"No, Mani. I'm mad at you," I said and she pouted.
"Baby, it was a joke," Normani said wrapping her arms and legs around me.
"Baby," Normani said looking up at me before she sat up on my lap.
"No, you made me miss one of the best parades," I said trying to push her off of me.
"Baby, you agreed to not going," she told me pushing me down on the bed and tried kissing me.
"No, this is how we missed the parade," I told her trying to push her off of me again.
"Give me a kiss and I'll get off of you," she replied.
"No," I told her and she pouted, "let's go get tacos. "
"Give me a kiss," she whined. I pecked her lips and pushed her off of me.
"There's gonna be traffic, loser," she said slipping on her shoes.
"Okay, and? I still want tacos and I'm gonna get them," I said and slipped on my slippers.
"I don't like you," she mumbled.
"Crazy. That's not what you said a couple of hours ago," I told her wrapping my arms around her waist.
"Get off. Let's go get food," she said trying to pry my arms from around her, but failed. I gave her a kiss on the cheek and she blushed. We left and got food, but by the time we were about to leave the parade had started and we were stuck in traffic.
"Damnit," I mumbled and Normani giggled.
"I told you there'd be traffic, but no you just had to get your tacos. You could've easily made them," she said. I'm
"I could've, but I didn't want to," I replied and she shook her head.
"Fuck it. I'll just eat them now. I can't risk having cold tacos," I said and she laughed. I was practically starving, so I basically just swallowed my food. Normani slowly at whatever she had gotten because she didn't want to waste anything in my car. By the time I was done, the traffic had started to slack up and I was full. I put a piece of gum in my mouth.
"I should've asked her for a Tesla," I said to myself and called my mother.
"Yes, Y/N/N?" she said and yawned.
"Were you asleep?" I asked feeling bad for waking her up.
"I was, but what's up, baby?" she asked.
"You know I love you, right?" I said and she shook her head.
"What do you want, child?" she asked suspiciously.
"Mama, I want a Tesla," I told her.
"Okay? What do you want me to do?"
"I want you to purchase it," I replied.
"No," she said and I gasped.
"Why not?" I whined.
"I said no."
"If you don't, I'm tell everyone you don't feed me which is believable because you can't cook to save your life," I said and she laughed.
"Ask Jay. I'm going back to sleep. I love you," she said yawning again.
"I love you too."
"Big baby," she mumbled playfully before hanging up. I called Jay wanted waited for him to answer.
