Your POV
March 2018

Mardi Gras has finally ended, but the people didn't go home. I don't mind when people visit the city, but I really hate when they do. I had meetings and other things to do, so I couldn't go see my mom right after. I had to wait until July. Jay had sent there private jet to New Orleans to fly us to L.A. I slept most of the flight and Jess was sexting Luna.

"Ew, I'm gonna tell mama," I said teasingly. She rolled her eyes and moved to the other seat. The pilot announced that we were about to land and the seatbelt light came on. I put my seat belt on and accidentally kicked Jess when I stretched.

"Ouch, bitch," she said kicking me back harder than how I kicked her. I put my shoe back on and kicked her hard, but not too hard. She started crying which made me feel bad, but not really because I've hit her way harder before.

"Crybaby," I said.

"You're such a fucking asshole," she said still crying.

"You should've never kicked me. I kicked you on accident the first time, dickhead," I told her. The plane landed, we got off and got our stuff. Jay pulled up with Julius and I was so happy to see him. Like extremely happy. I dropped my suitcase, ran over to him and jumped into his arms.

"Hi, baby girl. How was the flight?" he asked.

"It was okay. I slept the whole flight," I told him.

"Why is Jess limping?"

"I kicked her in the leg."

"Baby girl, you really hurt her," he said pointing at her and she was really in pain. He put me down.

"Grab her bags. I'll get her," I told him. I went over and picked her up.

"It really hurts, Y/N/N," she cried.

"I'm sorry, bubs. I didn't mean to kick you too hard," I told her. She buried her head in the crook of my neck and cried.

"Wanna get it checked out?" I asked her and she nodded.

"We'll get a doctor to come to the house," Jay said as he put her bags and my bags in the car. I put Jess in the car, carefully lifted up her legs and put them on my lap. I carefully pulled her pants up and saw that her leg was swollen and bruised.

"Hairline fracture," I said, "Have you been putting a lot of stress on your legs?"

"Yeah, for the dance I'm in," she said.

"Shit, I'm so sorry," I told her.

"It's okay, Y/N/N. I know you didn't mean to hit me too bad," she said laughing, but still crying, "what has Beyoncé done to my best friend?" We got to the house, everyone was still asleep, so we didn't wake them. The doctor came and I was right. Jess has a hairline fracture. I asked the doctor to put a cast on her leg, so she wouldn't be able to be on it. I didn't mind carrying her because Jess was light. I helped her take a bath and helped her into bed, so she could take a nap. The crying had made her tired. I took a shower and changed my clothes.

"Y/N/N, will you cuddle with me?" Jess asked practically asleep.

"Yeah, let me go speak to my mom real quick," I told her, "don't fall asleep on me."

I ran to my mom's room and jumped in the bed. My mom groaned and turned over. I lead my head on her chest and her hand immediately came up to play in my hair.

"Hi, mommy," I said barely above a whisper.

"My baby. I missed you so much," she said giving me a kiss on my forehead, "where's Jess?"
