Your POV
"Sir, stop putting that in your mouth," I said trying to get him to take a toy out of his mouth.
"No," he said and ran away. I caught him and took the toy out of his mouth. He whined and tried taking it back.
"You're not getting it back until you stop putting it in your mouth," I told him. He pouted and reached out for my mom.
"Mama," he whined and she picked him up.
"Stop messing with my baby," my mom said as she babied him.
"Tell him to stop putting toys that he drops on the floor in his mouth," I replied and she pinched me.
"You're mean," I whined and walked away. Jess was sitting on the sofa with Rumi in her arms. Rumi saw me and smiled.
"Hi, my baby. How are you?" I asked her and she reached out for me.
"Mine," she said and I picked her up. She held my face in her tiny hands and kissed my nose.
"You're so cute," I told her and she blushed.
"Tell Luna to leave me alone," Jess said scrolling through her phone.
"Uh, why can't you? That's your ex," I replied.
"That's your sister," she replied.
"Still your ex. That's a you problem. I told you something was off in her head before y'all even started dating."
"Look, I wasn't paying attention because she's so damn fine with all that melanin, but fuck," she said rubbing her eyes.
"No," Rumi said as Jess said a bad word.
"Jess, you got one more time to curse," my mom said walking past us.
"Ooo, you're in trouble," I said and Jess hit me.
"Y'all gone stop hitting me in these damn stories like I'm a damn punching bag," I said and she furrowed my eyebrows.
"What are you talking about?" she asked.
"Nothing, dude," I said holding Rumi in the air. She squealed and clapped her hands.
"Who's my beautiful butterfly?" I said and she blushed as I brought her down to kiss her cheeks.
"Me," Rumi said pointing at herself.
"Yes, you are," I replied and she gave me a kiss.
"Y/N, you have a photo shoot today," Jess said and I nodded.
"I know. I'm about to leave after I put my little munchkin down for a nap," I replied walking to my mom's room because I didn't want to go upstairs to put her in her room. Rumi yawned leaning on my shoulder and patted my back as if she were trying to put me to sleep. I rubbed her back until she fell asleep, which didn't take too long. I put her in the bed next to Sir and Blue before giving them all kisses and heading out the room.
"Mama, I'm leaving," I said as I walked back in the kitchen to see her on her laptop.
"Where are you going?" she asked me looking up from her laptop.
"Have a photo shoot," I said stealing one of her strawberries.
"With who?" she asked me.
"Calvin Klein and I'm thinking about doing a collab with Jaden for his clothing line," I told her and she smiled.
"Really? Your art would be nice on some of his hoodies and stuff like that," she replied and I gave her a kiss on her cheek.
"I'll be back later, mama," I told her.
