This is a continuation of the last story, I have been thinking of making this into a series of short stories where Grayson Drake and Mia meet all types of magical creatures and monsters. But for now, I'll see what all you would like to see

Drake sat under the shade of one of the many empty buildings of Riverhill village, Grayson and Mia we're nearby checking out an odd building. It was old maybe even an ancient stone building with vines growing down its sides. Mia suggested it could have been some type of tomb and wanted to go and take a look, with the hope that someone was still here they asked as they did Drake to take a look around. After finding no one not even any evidence of people being in the village in years he decided to sit outside of the building to wait for his two friends. In the quiet of the empty village where there weren't any auras to bother the mage, he closed his eyes and fell asleep to the soft noise of the nearby river.

Mia and Grayson wandered around the huge building where the archaeologist was in her element as she looked at the paintings on the walls. With her eyes glued on one of a man sitting on a throne Mia heard footsteps leaving the room and without looking away she called out to who she thought was Grayson "Grayson where are you going there is so much to look at in this room!"

"What are you talking about?" Grayson called back from a few feet away. Mia's heart dropped and she picked up her sword and held it tightly in her hands Grayson also went for his sword but he froze when one of the stone bricks fell on the other side of the room. The two blonds looked over to see what looked like a man who they could see through quickly he disappeared and they both looked at each other.

Grayson slowly picked up his things, Mia followed his example and as they both had their bags in hand there was another crash and they ran. They ran through the endless hallways finding themselves lost they run into a room and lock the door behind them. "What do we do?" Mia asks.

"I don't know, it's not like you can fight a ghost, " Grayson answered. And on cue, someone banged on the door and the human and elf backed up against the wall.

"Drake could probably do something, "

"Okay, how do you suggest we tell him we need help" Grayson questions Mia with a hint of anger in his voice.

With this question Mia drew quite until dropping her bad to the ground and searching through it, she found what she was looking for and took it out. It was a crystal which gave off a warm light and as the door swung open and a feeling of dread filled the room she through it on the ground causing it to shatter. Grayson looked over at her "What was that supposed to accomplish, " the spirit stood staring at the broken crystal.

Mia started to panic "Drake said it held magic and breaking it would at like a flare to get his attention!" the mage, of course, didn't appear. Grayson ran pass the ghost with Mia close on his heels and as they ran things crashed to the ground all around them. The sight of sunlight has the two of them sprit towards the window they entered through and climb outside.

Then Grayson and Mia spotted Drake asleep they couldn't believe while they had been running away from a ghost he was fast asleep. The spirit phased through the wall and was now outside and Grayson and Mia had no idea what to do. "Drake will you wake the hell up!" Grayson yelled. Across the courtyard in front of the building, they were just in the hybrid opened his eyes and glared over at his two friends.

Mia was amazed when Drake didn't even flinch to help them, "Aren't you going to do something!?"

Drake laughed at his friends' panicking as the ghost stood in front of them, "Why are you laughing!" Grayson yelled with fury.

Still smiling he stood up and in the same odd Latin his spells were in he told the spirit to leave his two friends alone. It stared at the mage for a few moments before disappearing. "Why did you wait that long to do that, It could have killed us !" Mia yells at Drake who can't help but smile knowing something they didn't.

"Mia, how can a ghost kill you? When It literally can't touch you, what is it going to do? Scare you to death?" Grayson and Mia just looked at Drame with disbelief

"It was throwing stuff!" Grayson protested.

"And nothing hit us, " Mia says with a realization,

Drake patted Grayson's shoulder and told him   "Guess a ghost is a bit out of vampire killer's league, "

"And a vampire is out of a mage's league, " Drake smiles at Grayson's come back. "Anyway, I searched the village no ones around, " Drake says this now addressing both his friends.

"Guess the ghost wants to keep this place for himself then, "  Mia comments. Drake and Grayson smile, and as the sunset, they set up inside one of the houses and that night Grayson and Mia kept the fire brightly lite.
