The one with the falling off roofs

"Whats up?" River says. "Well uh, that was Lily at the door, and she kinda offered me a spot on the cheer team." i say. "Excuse me." Miles says. "There is no way you are joining that thing's team." "I kind of already agreed and signed the contract for the rest of the year." i say and kind of smile. "Wheres Drew? What does he say about this?" River asks. I could tell they were both pissed, not mad, pissed. 

They went inside and brought Drew outside. "Callie do you even realize who asked you to do this? Lily! Lily and you have never gotten along. She cut off your hair once, and then you put gum in hers to get back at her." he says. "And then mom grounded you for stooping down to 'Our' level." Miles says and we all laugh. "Yeah i was so mad, i mean all of you guys always did those things to people." i say and we all laugh again. 

"Back to the point thought, Callie, this is up to you, but i think your making a bad choice. Lily may be hanging you out to dry." he says. "I dont think so." i say and walk inside. i walk back up to my room and get my things ready for school tomorrow.

My phone started ringing around 10:30 and it was Dylan. "Hey babe." i say. "Hey Baby i was wondering if you could sneak out tonight." he says. "To your house?" "Yeah but we're going out." he says. "Where?" i ask. "Just dress warm, but light." he says. "Love you." with that he hung up. i got up and went to my closet. warm but light. okay. i put on a pair of ripped jeans. and black  bra-let and a nude sweater that was off one shoulder. I looked down the hall way and all my brothers were already in bed, well in their rooms playing video games. i went back in my room and locked my door. i went out my window and walked down the street to Dylan's house.

I walked in his house and went up to his room. I walked in and heard he was on the phone. i walked out and listened through the door. Was it wrong yes, im not proud but i was bored. "No Briana i told you were not getting back together.....No i dont love you back......look im sorry but i met someone when i moved here, and were dating now......yes i love her more than anyone in the world.....Look Briana your a great girl and im sure you'll make some other guy happy but im with Callie now, okay im sorry i need to go.....bye." he says and i hear him sigh. 

"What are you doing Dylan?" he says to himself. "Why did you even answer that call your with Callie now, you love her and-" he tries to continue talking but i walk in and interrupt him. "And she loves you too." i say and walk up to him. "You heard me?" he asks clearly embarrassed. "Kinda." i say and smile. i lean up on my tip toes and kiss him. "So where are we going?' i ask. he grabs my hand and starts walk to the door. he grabs his car keys off his desk and we walk downstairs. "Mom we'll be back." he calls out and he pulls me out of the house. "You look amazing." he says and i blush. I could feel him looking at me and he looked like he was about to burst out laughing and i realize it was because my cheeks were bright red. i put my hands over my face and he kissed my temple. "Dont hide, its cute." he says and starts the car. "I dont blush its just cold outside.' i say. "Sure." he says and we drive off.

"What kind of shoes are you wearing?" he asks. "Um, boots. why?" i ask. "No reason." he says and we pull up to the mountains. Dylan jumps out of the jeep and comes to my side of the car, he grabs my hand and we start walking up the mountain. "Its like 40 degrees." i say to him. "I told you to dress warm." "And light!" i say back. We both laugh a little. "here." he says pulling off his sweater. he hands i to me and i put it on. "Your going to freeze." i say. "When i was in California me and my friends would sneak out to the ocean and swim in the winter. It was one of our favorite things to do." he says. "Your crazy, i hate the cold, okay it gets like 109 here and im cold." i say "Okay how are we together?" he says joking. "Well opposites attract." i say. we stop walking and he looks down into my eyes. "Hell yeah they do." he says and kisses me. 

"Okay lets keep going." he says. We walk all the way up the mountain and when we reach the top i hear music and see lights.  it takes a second for my eyes to adjust to the light and i see a bunch of people. All of my brothers, my friends, the cheer team and even Lily.  "Dylan whats going on?" i ask. "Well you made it on the cheer team so i thought we should celebrate." he says. i look up at him an smile. "I love you so much." i say. I pull his neck down and  kiss him, then i wrap my arms around him. "I love you too baby." he says.

"Hows your night going?" Carson asks. "Im surprised, but you know how much i hate surprises. How' d did my boyfriend, the guy all of you hate, get all of you here?" i ask. "Well we knew how much this would cheer you up."  he says. "Plus you clearly like him a lot so im guessing hes not going anywhere any time soon, so we all figured that we should make an effort to get along with him." "Car, you have no idea how much that means to me." i say and hug him. "Well that and he went through all the trouble planning this and he even asked Drew if it was okay, so hats kind of why Drew likes him now." i smile and walk over to the drinks. i look over and see Dylan talking to Ashton. "Hey guys, what are you talking about?' i ask. "just giving your boyfriend a little liquid fun." Ashton says and smiles. "Not to much please, ok im not trying got take care of him tonight." i say. i kiss Dylan's cheek and walk over to Lily and the rest of the cheer team. 

"Hey Callie, so tomorrow you need to be in the gym by 4 so we can catch you up to speed. We're so happy you said you could join" Lily says. "It means a lot that you asked." i say. "Of course, i know we've had our differences, but at some point you realize that all the drama isn't worth it, life is to short to care about something that happend a million years ago." she says. i smile and she hugs me. "Plus ive always been a little jealous of you, i think we can be great friends."

I walk over to Dylan who is standing with his friend Tony and taking a shot of vodka. "Babe." i say trying to get his attention. He turns around and looks at me. "Hey babe whats up?" he asks. "Your drunk." i say. "Im a little buzzed im not drunk." he says. The only reason i was mad was because we were supposed to go back to is place and 'hang out' if you know what i mean, but i cant do that with him while hes drunk. So yeah im kind of pissed off.  "Are you freaking serious." i say to him. "Why are you freaking out its a party im having fun." he says. 

"Okay but your fun time is totally ruining our plans for later." i say. "I'll be fine by then." he says and takes another shot. "You know what, keep drinking, tonight's canceled." i say and take off his sweater. i through it at him. "Call me when your sober." i say and walk over to our friend Zane. "Hey can you make sure Dylan gets home okay? im leaving and he's off the charts." "I got it, go home." he says. 

I started walking home in the dark and after like a half hour i made it. the door was locked and no one else was home yet so i  the garage and tried to open my window but my foot slipped and i fell. i rolled down off the roof and fell 13 feet to the grass. i must have hit my head or something because i dont remember anything else.
