My doctor came in and told me they think they got all of the cancer out of me, but I'm not gonna her my hopes up. Everyone else was really excited. The doctor said I could go home in a day or two so I jus had to kill sometime. All of my brothers had left to go see Carson who they said was up and talking. I wish I could go see him. "What are you thinking about?" Dylan asks me. "I'm thinking about getting out of here." I say. "I want to go home." He brings his hand up and rubs my arm. "I know you do baby but it won't be long." He says. "I know."
Me and Dylan were cuddled up in bed watching the small little tv in the room when I heard someone yelling in the hallway. "What the hell was that?" I mumble. Dylan got out of bed and walked to the door. He pushed it open all the way and I could see a man yelling at one of the nurses.
"You stupid bitch!" He yelled. "You killed my son!!" The nurse looked around and then at the man. "Sir. Your son died from cancer, I'm sorry." She says. "He only died from it because you people couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong with him!" He yells. "Sir. I'm very sorry for your loss but there's nothing I nor Andy one else can do to bring him back." She responds civil. The man didn't say anything for a moment and then pulls out a gun. The nurse started screaming as Dylan shit the door.
"These things don't have a lock ?" He asks. "Put the chair under the handle." I ay and he does. Dylan got back into bed with me and I buried my face in his chest. He rubbed my back for awhile and then I remembered my brothers are In the hospital. "Babe where's my phone?" I ask. "Here use mine." He says and I call drew.
"Hello?" He says. "Drew where are you?" I ask. "We're on our way to see you." "No stop!" I say fast. "Turn around and go back! Leave!" "Callie what's going on? "Someone pulled a gun." I say and hang up the phone.
Dylan pulled me closer to him and I let out a deep breath. "I love you babygirl." He says. "I love you more." I say and kiss his chest. He kissed my forehead and pulled me in tighter. Three were a few shots fired so Dylan turned the tv up to distract me. It kinda worked. The was a shooting going on around me but with him I felt safe. Nothing could hurt me.
All of the sudden the window shattered in my room and Dylan covered us up with the blanket. "Dylan?" I say scared to death. "We're ok." He says and looks up. He gets out of the bed and pulls me down to the floor with him.
We stayed down there for awhile until security came in and told us we were okay. They arrested the man and even thought he shot a bullet in my room I feel for him. He lost his son.

About two days later the doctors let me leave. They told me to be careful because I had stitches on my stomach so they wanted me to move the least amount possible for two weeks.
Dylan and I were laying in bed and messing around a little when the door opened. I sat up and covered up with a blanket to see river standing in the door way. Dylan got out of bed and walked over to the closet to grab a shirt for me. "Oh shit sorry." River says. "I didn't know you guys were-maybe put a sock on the door next time." "No river maybe you should knock." I say. " I'm only changing anyways so you thought way off." "Oh well sorry." River says. "Drew said dinners ready." I nod my head and look at Dylan.
Dylan looked over at me and smiled. He walked over to me and laid next to me. He pulled my into him and kissed me. "I thought you got me a shirt?" I ask. "You can wear that later." He says and runs his hand up my leg. I smiled at him and kissed him.
Dylan and I walked downstairs and saw everyone wasting at the table. "Hey guys." I say and sit down next to Dylan. The guys were talking about the annual boys weekend coming up this weekend. "Dylan what are you doing this weekend?" Drew asks. "Nothing I think." He says. "Good your coming with us." He says and I smiled a little. "So where are you guys gonna go?" I ask. "We're probably gonna go up to uncle jacks cabin in rosemary forest." River says. "Uncle jack has a cabin in rosemary forest??" I ask shocked. "Yeah He had it built a few years ago." Ashton says. "How did I not know that?" I ask. "Because it was a secret." Ben says and looks at all of them. "Why was it a secret?" I ask. "Well it's the boys cabin. Girls aren't allowed there." Drew says. "That's-" I start to object but river cuts me off. "Fair because you and mom had a secret tree house in noble national park and went the with cousin Lisa and cousin Mack to have girls weekends?" He asks. "That was different it was a tree house not a cabin!" I say. "It was a tree house that had six rooms a working bathroom and heat plus air conditioning." Ashton says. I roll my eyes and eat my food.
After I was finished I walked up to my room and threw on a tank top and slid on a pair of high waisted short leggings. Dylan walked in as I was adjusting everything. "I'm so tired." He says. "Then go to bed." I say walking to my bed. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and paused for a second. "Ow shit." I mumble. "What happened?" Dylan asks. "All of my pants are high waisted and they pull on my stitches." I say and sit down. "So don't wear any pants." He says. "You would love that wouldn't you." I joke. "Of course but you need to sleep and so do I we have a long day Tomorrow." He says.
"Why? What are we doing?" I ask. "I have to go meet with a couple people about the house and I need your help to remodel." He says. "Is that it?" I ask. "No we're going on a hike with Tyler and Stella and then take Baxter to get his shots and then we need to go get you a dress for my cousins wedding." He says. "Why is it like the first time I'm hearing about all of this?" I ask "because you were in the hospital for three days."
"Fine but I'm not hiking a big mountain Dylan I swear." I say firm and he smiles. "Relax it's Caden Creek Mountain it's not big." He says. "Good." I say and he kisses my lips. "Goodnight babygirl." He says. "Goodnight babe." I say and drift off to sleep.
