The one with the stars

I was in the hospital for a few hours while they ran tests on me but everything came back fine. They told me that I'm gonna need surgery on my hand and physical therapy but it should be back to normal in a few months. While the nurse went to get my discharge papers I sat on the bed with Ashton while everyone else was scattered around my room. "Where's Dylan?" I ask. "He's waiting for us at the house." Drew says. "Does he know what happened?" I ask. "He knows about the accident and that we lost you and that were here." I nod my head and we wait for the doctors to come in.

We all walked into the house and saw Baxter run up to us. "Hey buddy." Miles says and starts playing with him. I went straight upstairs and heated my shower going. I knocked on the door. "Dylan?" I ask softly. "Baby?" He calls out. I walk into the room and see fog everywhere. The shower turned off. I could smell his body wash and it was amazing. I missed it. I handed him a towel which he wraps around his waist. He wrapped me up in his big strong arms and held me tight like he would never let go. He kissed the top of my head and let go.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there." He says. "This isn't your fault." He sighs. He runs his hand threw his hair staring at me. "I know it's not but I still should have come to get you." I shake my head in disapproval. "I wouldn't let you, you did everything you could but I fought you. So I'm sorry for doing that but you, you didn't do anything at all." I say bringing his face down to look at me. "I love you Callie." He says softly. I lean my forehead against his chest taking everything in. "I love you so much Dylan."

About a week after the accident it was time to fix my hand. Dylan and Ben took me to the hospital so I could have my surgery.

Everything went good but they said it was a bit worse than they expected. My hand was pretty much crushed. They told me that I'd I have to do physical therapy but I would be using it again in no time.

"Callie!" Some yells from downstairs. "Yeah?" I yell back. "Come down here please."

I got up and walked downstairs. I saw everyone sitting on the couch with sad looks on their faces. "What's going on?" I ask. "We just heard from mom and dads lawyer." Drew says. "Alright." I say and sit down. "What did they say?" I ask. "They said that the airline agreed to settle." Ben says. "Meaning?" "They want to give us 3 and a half million dollars in agreement to not sue them." "Well were not agreeing to that right?" I ask. All my brothers looked st me like I was crazy. "Callie that's a lot of money." Ashton says. "Can you imagine how that would help us out?" Miles adds. "3 million dollars."

"That money means nothing their just trying to save themselves." I say getting angry. "So let them, we still end up with three mil." River says. "Is that all mom and dad are worth to you guys?" I ask standing back up. "You know what go ahead and accept it, but I don't want anything to do with that pity money." I start walking back to the stairs but Ben calls me back. "Callie what do you want to do?" He asks. "I want them in jail for what they did." I snap and walk upstairs. I lay back down in my bed and dial Dylan's number.

"Hey baby what's up?" He asks. "Nothing what time are you off work?" I ask. "Around seven why?" "Can you come home anytime sooner?" I ask. "Uh maybe why?" "I don't know the lawyers for my parents called and offered a lot of money in exchange for not  suing and I think my brothers are going to do it." "Well I think Carl wanted to cover my shift today anyways so I'll call him." He says. "Ok." "Its gonna be okay babe. I'll let you know what's going on." He says. "Alright I'll see you soon." "Alright I love you." He says. "Love you too."

I laid down on my phone for awhile until I was so bored! Dylan texted me and said he would be home around four thirty. I got up and grabbed one of my duffle bags. I put my big fluffy blanket inside and put in a few pillows. I packed a pair of joggers and a t shirt or Dylan's and a pair of my shorts and another one of Dylan's shirts inside the bag.

I walked downstairs and made a couple sandwiches and a couple water bottles. "Where are you going?" River asks. "Me and Dylan are going on a date." I say smiling. "Where?" "I don't know yet I want to have a  picnic." "Go to Maryland field." He says. "What's that?" I ask. "It's a spot in the woods. In the middle there's a field. It's beautiful you can see a million starts and I think there's a meteor shower tonight." "Thanks riv." I say smiling. I walk back to my room and open my closet.

I pushed a few clothes off the ground and pulled out a bottle of champagne that I've been hiding. I filled my hydro with ice and put everything in a bag.

I looked at the time and saw it was almost four thirty. "Carson!" I yell from my room. "What?" He asks. "Dylan's going to be here soon tell him I'm in the shower." He nods his head and I walk into the bathroom.

I got out of the shower put my hair into French braids and put on a little makeup. I put on a pair of skinny black jeans with holes in them and a red cropped top.

I walked into my room and saw Dylan sitting on his phone. I walked up to him and straddled him. I grabbed his phone and pushed it in my back pocket. He smiled at me and his hands gripped my butt. "Hi baby." He says. "Hi." I say and lean down to kiss him.

"We're going out." I say. "Where too?" He asks. "You'll see." I say and get up. I grab his hand and pull him out the door. I grab one of the bags and he picks up the other. "What's in here?" He asks. "Don't look and don't ask." We walked down to his car and started our way to the field. The sun was almost down so I knew we needed to hurry. River told me the way to get there so I was ready. This is going to be amazing.

I held one of Dylan's hands and led the way to the spot. Once we reached it I could see a million starts and it was incredible. I let go of his hand and was in awe. It's like a movie. I felt his wrap his arms around my waist and lay his head on my shoulder. I put my hands over his. "I love you Dylan." I say turning around to face him. "I love you too." He says. "No. Dylan I love you, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want to grow old with you and have kids with you, and I know I sound crazy because I'm only 15 but I know that being with you for the rest of my life is the most mature and accurate decision I've ever made." I say with a bid smile on my face. Before he could say anything I grabbed his hand. I pulled out a little box and emailed at him.

"Callie what is that?" He asks. "Shut up." I say smiling. "Dylan this ring is here to remind you that I will be your girlfriend for the rest of my life until you decide to make me something more." I slide the ring on his finger and smile. I look up and him and he's smiling. He cups my face and kisses me. "I love you babygirl." He says. "I love you too Dylan."

I opened up the bag and laid out the big blanket. I threw the pillows around and put the food in the middle of the blanket. We sat down and watched the stars. "This is crazy." I say watching stars fly. "There's only one thing that I've ever seen that is more beautiful than this." "Whats that?" I ask not taking my eyes off the sky. "You." He says. I look at him and smile. "I love you." I say and sit on his lap.

He kissed my lips softly. His hands move down to my lower back pulling me closer to him. I pulled out another blanket out of the duffel bag and covered us up with it. He pushed me off of him and pinned me down on the ground. He started kissing my neck making me go crazy. "I love you too." He says and continues.
