Heathers P.O.V

Camryn stiffened next to me, listening, while my lungs forgot to work. "And don't forget that other one." They say it so nonchalantly that I could hardly believe they were talkinv about kidnapping a person. There was a tap on my shoulder and, even though I knew who it was, I jumped. She handed me something, a knife, one they give to you when you are in the military. Really?! Do I need one of these? I've never had to fight this way before! I internally panicked. As if Camryn sensed my inner turmoil, she placed a hand on my shoulder and smiled softly while mouthing the words, 'it will be alright.'

How? I almost wanted to yell that, we could be killed here and now! Camryn then started to creep forward so she was right behind the girl that moved over a bit. Whatever she planned to do would have worked if my shoe didn't squeak when I to a step. Camryn shot me an exasperated glare before swiftly taking out her pistol.

She was able to shoot two of them, but the last one shot at her before she could shoot him, since he was across the room from where the last guy once stood. From my point of view, it looked like she moved out of the way and shot him quickly before turning to me.

"We have to move, quickly!" It was obvious that he had called for backup, the footsteps were thoundering down the hallways. Cam grabbed her communications device, and told the others the situation.

"Should we call Wynter?" Jesse asked frantically. I watched curiously as Camryn sighed,

"Not yet."

"Why not?"

"I can handle this."

"Camryn, remember what happened last time." Mikes voice droaned out of the speaker.

"That was last time, I'm better now." Camryn said, anger lacing her words.

"Whoa Bessie, calm down, we are just trying to help you out-" the com cut off in the middle of whatever Jesse was going to say. At first, I thought it was because the people we were going against were coming or something, but it was just Camryn flipping it off with a sly grin.

"What was that about?" I asked her, nails biting into my palms from nervousness.

"We are about to have company in about, " she glances at her watch, "five minutes. Why not have some awesome music to accompany it?" Smiling innocently as she put on Queen's Don't Stop Me Now. Just as Freddie started singing, the guys burst into the room, guns blazing. Camryn had to quickly push me back into the hallway and tossed me another gun before russing back to shoot some people.

I stared at the gun in my hand. What do I do with this? I have never shot one before? Am I expected to use this? I was brought out of my thoughts by a loud crash.  "More people to deal with?" I muttered in shock but, when I turned, I saw people with clothing similar to Camryn's.

Noticing that I haven't seem her in a few minutes, I hurridly scanned the floor to no advil, I couldn't find her.
Cupping my hands togther, I shouted "Camryn!" It wasn't the best idea, I know, but it was the only one I had.
When I got a grunt in return, I knew she was at least alive, so I turned to where I heard the sound and sighed in relief when I saw Camryn there, breathing heavily.

"Hey hot stuff," she said when I was closer to her, making me roll my eyes in response. "We have to get out of here before they spot us leaving. If they knew that we left once they are done, I'd be in pretty big trouble." She laughed a bit, but it sounded breathless.

"You okay?" I searched her over for anything only to see nothing, but it is hard to see anything on black.

"Peachy, now lets go." She grabbed my hand and we raced out of the area. We went to where Jesse was first, told her what was happening, and then went to get Mike.

We then started to leave the building when someone's gruff voice called out to us. "Damn it." Camryn muttered before turning around. "Hey Wynter." She said in a bored tone.

"Where do you think you're going?" This girl- Wynter said accusingly.

"Well heading out for lunch wouldn't be a bad idea." Camryn said, her stomach grumbling loudly in return. While she stood there, blushing like an idiot, I stared at her. Something was still off, I couldn't figure it out.

Wynter caught on to it too, but she seemed to caught up in whatever to acknowledge it. "You know we aren't allowed to leave the scene before we have everyone accounted for! And to do something so reckless, I thought we all agreed that you wouldn’t-" she stopped suddenly as she stared at Camryn, her face suddenly paled.

The knot in my stomach grew larger as Mike and Jesse shared a knowing look and instantly grabbed onto Camryn's arms, pulling her away. "We got this from here, thank you Wynter." I trailed behind, confused on what was going on. When we got a good few meters away, I noticed the worried glances Jesse or Mike would give Camryn while she stayed silent the entire drive back.

"How could you be so stupid, Cam?" Jesse muttered as she closed her eyes. "You can't just go out there alone! We could've lost you!" She seemed to be keeping a hold of her emotions, but you could see the anger in her eyes at her friends stupidity, but also worry.

Why are they so worried? What happened? Did I miss something? "I needed to prove that you guys don't have to worry while I am in Europe." Camryn whispered, her voice weak.

Once we got to their home, I watched them all go inside and talk quietly before Camryn announcing that she needed to get some rest. I quietly followed her up, as I had nothing better to do. When we entered the room, however, I did not expecr her to double over and hold her side.

"What's wrong?" I asked frantically.
She just groaned and pulled her shirt off to look at whatever caused her pain. I only gaped and tried not to blush before I saw it. My blood ran cold as I gasped.

"You got shot!"
