Heather's P.O.V
I nibbled on my nail as I waited for my parents to walk through the door. They had the plan ready, finally, and it involved Camryn and her friends. From the living room, I heard the door open and sat up on the couch. I looked at my parents, "so, what's the plan?"
My father grinned, making him resemble the Grinch when he came up with his plan to take the presents. "We're going to hit Commander Brown where it hurts, his neice."
I gaped at him, "seriously? That is an..." I looked at my parents and swallowed what I wae going to say. "An amazing plan, Dad."
He chuckled, "Isn't it? Once we get her, he will do anything to get the child back. It's a flawless plan, really."
He hugged my mother, who was smiling herself. "Now, we have to get the rest of the plan ready, which means that we need you," he nodded toward me, "to find the girl's weak spot so that we will be able to catch her by suprise."Well...there's me....I swallowed thickly and did a mock salute, "Aye aye, Captain." Dad chuckled and walked over to me, kissing my forehead.
"That's my girl."

I walked into school on Monday and sighed in relief when I noticed that Camryn and her friends weren't here yet. I walked over to her locked and quickly inputted the combination, opening it. Inside there were pictures of her as a kid with family, I'm guessing her parents. There were foot steps coming my way quickly, so I shut the locker and walked over to my own, hoping that whomever it wad walking this was didn't see me in the sea of students.
Speaking of the devils, or rather thinking of the devils, Camryn and her friends came over, easily weaving through the crowd of people as if they were nothing. When they got to her locker, they stopped so that she could get her stuff, so I sauntered over to her like I wasn't just at her locker. "Hey Cam, Jesse and Mike." and then another boy bounded over, and the others looked over to see the one and only Jonathan.
"Hey there Johnny boy." Camryn said as she shut her locker.
"Camryn, why haven't you been answering my texts?" He crossed his arms and his face contorted into one of sarcastic anger.
"I've been busy, mate." Camryn said, her eyes flickering over to me. I flashed her a quick smile and Johnathan gasped.
"You have being doing queen bee over here?!"
Camryn's face flushed as she swatted at her friend, probably hitting harder than she intented, as Johnathan winced. I snorted. Jonathan and Sarah would make pretty good friends.
"There you are, Heather. Golly, I was looking for you everywhere." Sarah spoke from across the hall.
"Good morning, Sarah. Also, I've come here for the past few days, why is noe going to be any different?" I asked playfully.
"Well, if I knew you'd be hanging around your girlfriend," I blushed, as did Cam, who did try to maintain a bored face, "Then I would have come over sooner."
We sat and talked until the bell rang, and as soon as they all walked to class, I whipped out my phone and texted my father.
Me
She has pictures of what seems to be her parents, whom we haven't seen yet.Dad
That will work, but we need more. Remember, we're counting on you.I put away my phone and gulped, then put on a smile and walked into class like nothing happened, feeling eyes burning into me the entire way to my seat.
