>Spring<

The grass was green again, it looked wet with the morning dew and the sun glistening across it. All the trees were beginning to bud and blossom, the sky was a perfect blue with puffy, light white clouds. But the breeze was still cool and the air was crisp and cold. It was the perfect definition of a spring day.

The academy was exactly what I expected. There were different buildings bursting with life, there were dancers carrying duffel bags and people carrying instruments larger than their bodies, and it was all absolutely perfect. The academy insisted on a dorm, I tried to decline but they gave me one anyways. The school said it was due to my scholarship, and they didn't want to risk any possible lawsuits.

The halls of the female dormitory were packed, everyone was bringing their belongings in and hugging their parents goodbye. It was stressful trying to pry my way in and out of the elevator, when I finally got to my room I was anxious to get in.

Going to an art school you never know what type of artist you're going to be 'dormed' with, I just pray it's not someone in modern music. When I opened the door I sighed in relief, sitting on a fluffy white comforter was my roommate. She had short curly blonde hair and big framed glasses, she was very petite and skinny. All along her walls were polaroid pictures and fairy lights, and there were small plants lining her window sill.

"Hello," I tried to sound as friendly as possible as I walked into the room. I set all my things down, hearing her shuffle behind me. "My names Asteria."

"Asteria? That's such a pretty name." Her face looked shocked as she repeated my name. I laughed lightly as we shook hands. "My names Vega."

"Vega? That's unique." She smiled at me before flopping back on her bed. She watched as I began to unpack my few things. "So what's your major?"

"Photography. You?" I took out my tool box of paint and brushes.

"Art. Mostly painting and drawing but I'm also taking a sculpting and ceramics class." I smiled while pinning a few of my favorite drawings to the wall around my window. I knew that my side of the room was just going to become a makeshift workshop, I could never let Jadu sleep by herself.

"So are you a child prodigy or something?" I look back to my bed to see her flipping through my stacks of drawings. I got nervous as she got to the drawing of Jimin and the napkin covered in the faces of the boys from the cafe in December. She paused at Jimin's photo picking it up and studying it closely. "Who is this?"

"Oh that? That's nothing." I took the drawings out of her hand putting Jimin's and the napkin drawing in the pages of my journal. "I just let my mind draw whatever facial features I think of."

"Hmm." She nodded her head before going back to sit on her bed. "I'm going to go see my friend, he's a Junior, come with me?"

"I'm okay."
