Paint covered my palms and fingertips, I'm sure I had more paint scattered across my body and hair. I was stressing over this assignment because unlike everything I've ever painted this one just won't go my way.

I've sketched and re-sketched the same picture hundreds of times and each time something is missing. I ultimately had to settle for the sketch that sucked the least but once I transferred it onto a canvas everything got a million times worse. I wasn't one for cursing but with one more mistake I would be ready to scream profanities.

"Ugh!" I threw my paint brush onto the paint covered table. "Stupid little piece of-"

"Woah there Star." I jumped at the sudden voice behind me. I was in the Visual Arts wing of the school and all classes have been out for hours, no one should be here. "What's got you so worked up?"

Jimin tilted his head as he leant up against the door frame. Of course he looked absolutely perfect in the moment I looked like complete and utter rubbish. My hair was frizzy and a thin layer of sweat covered my entire body.

"This stupid painting." I sighed. Pushing my body to sit on the table I kicked my legs in the air as I studied him. "It's supposed to be a piece inspired by the work of Georges Seurat but it looks like shit."

He laughed once I finally cursed. I don't see how he can laugh right now, or even be here. I wanted to ask him but before I could he was looking at my nowhere-near-complete canvas.

He looked it over even though I'm sure he didn't understand what he was looking at. I still appreciated him trying to be interested in my work.

"When is it due?" He turned to stand in front of me.

"A few weeks." He gave me a judgemental look. "What? I like to get things done so I'm not rushed to do them last minute." His expression remained. "And this is a very big assignment so you know."

I don't know why I was trying to prove myself to him, or what I was even trying to prove. But after I closed my mouth I was breathing a little heavier and my jaw was biting down a little tighter.

"Well Star it is quite obvious that your assignment, which is do in a few weeks and can be started tomorrow, is driving you insane."

"No it's not." I said glaring at him.

"This is the loudest I have ever heard your shy ass speak." He said with an extreme amount of sass. I scoffed. I wasn't going to admit my obvious defeat. "Oh so now she's quiet?"

I turned my head away from him which only caused him to laugh quietly to himself, I bit my lip to try not to smile at the sound.

"Asteria. Come on." He said. "Seriously? Don't ignore me when I'm standing right infront of you." I stayed silent. "Asteria~"

His hand slide on the table, he was close enough for his hand to barely touch the skin of my thigh. I gulped immediately looking at him. My inexperience with anyone of the opposite sex was definitely showing in this moment. Just the thought of him breathing makes me nervous.

"Let's go for a walk." He pushed his body off the table, this time not touching me. I stayed shocked for a moment before it finally clicked in my mind that he was speaking to me.

"Oh okay." I muttered quietly. Hurriedly I put all my equipment away, Jimin's hand lingering in the air for mine was rushing me to finish. I nearly tripped in the process of me trying to take my apron off and putting my backpack over my shoulders.

"Where are we going?" I asked while shyly letting my hand rest in his.

"I don't know. Let's just walk and see where we end up." His eyes thinned into crescents, the smile I craved to draw so many times stood beautifully on his face.
