I woke up the next morning, not being my usual tired self. I jumped up and ran in the shower, using the shampoo and conditioner I'd brought with me and the shower gel that was already in the shower. I shaved all over my body with the razor I'd brought and when I'd finished, dried myself off with the towels supplied.
I got dressed in some different, ripped short shorts and a pretty white top with black lace, which showed a bit of cleavage.
I applied some makeup, cleaned my teeth and sorted out my hair. I ran downstairs, to find Dad and Billie already up.
"Hey guys!" I exclaimed, giggling like a little girl.
"Hello sweetie." Dad smiled, hugging me.
"We made breakfast! Pancakes!" Billie told me enthusiastically, hugging me after Dad.
"Wow thank you!" I replied, sitting down at the table, to where my food was already out for me on a place. I took a bite and when to heaven. "Mmmm, this is so nice! It's lovely!"
"I'm glad you like it!" Billie laughed. "Have you got any plans for today?"
"Well, I wanna get a proper job at some point, maybe as a historian or something. But first, I need to get a smaller job, until I find something I really wanna do. So, I was thinking, that today I go and find a nice CD shop, or restaurant/bar to apply to." I replied.
"Sounds good! But, no more 'dancing'." Dad laughed, although I could tell he was being serious.
"I know, I won't!" I exclaimed back. I honestly loved it that he was worrying about me, I'd never had a parent like that.
"Good, would you like a lift somewhere?" He asked.
"Err..yes please, I mean, if you wouldn't mind. I just wanna be taken to like..a town centre or high street?" I replied.
"Yeah, sure, I know just the place. When you're ready to go, just tell me and I'll take you." Dad kindly said.
When I'd finished eating that wonderful meal, I ran upstairs to get ready.
I grabbed some money and my phone and other things I would need, and put it in a small handbag. I put on some short, black leather studded boots and sprayed some perfume. I looked like a rock chick, yet again, and I really loved the look.
I ran back down the stair, and began searching the huge house for my Dad. After a few minutes of searching, I came across a big, luxurious lounge, and saw him sitting on there. "I'm ready, lets gooooo!" I exclaimed excitedly.
He laughed, grabbed the house and car keys, before walking out the house into his car. I gasped. I didn't know much about cars, but I knew this was fucking beautiful. I jumped into the passenger seat, and we shot off down the road.
We arrived at a massive high street and before I got out, Dad told me to call him when I wanted picking up, as I had his number.
I walked down the road, enjoying the heat and the American's surrounding me. I was looking for a place to work, when I came across a little coffee shop. It really wasn't my style, but I thought I might as well check it out.
As I was walking in the door, I bumped into a man, who almost split his hot drink. "Oh shit, sorry!" I murmured as I bent down to pick up the phone he dropped.
"It's oka-" He began. "Soph?"
I picked up his phone, and looking up to see big, beautiful chocolate brown eyes. "Steven?" I gasped. What are the chances that he would be here. "What are you doing here?"
"I was just sorting some stuff out at the record studio, so I came here to get a drink after. What about you?" He replied.
"Looking for a little job. What's the studio like?" I asked. That could be the perfect place to work - it was a small job, yet was to do with music.
