"hello and good evening! i am mikey way and welcome back to belleville 4 o'clock news!" i said as soon as the cameras started.

"welcome back, if you don't know me, i'm frank iero. we begin our show today with an obviously very controversial segment. it is the topic of the result of mayor camper's election. miss camper has dealt with extreme homophobia and unnecessary discrimination in the last week of office because of her coming out as a gay woman on december 1st. we have her here in the studio and she will explain at 4:30 what has went on in the past days."

"while we pass a fragment of the time, we put a poll on both our website and app that asked, 'should meagan camper be removed from office for being a lesbian?' the answers were pretty outrageous, in my opinion. a whopping 65% of you said she should. what do you have to say about that, frank?"

"i think if i could cuss homophobes out on this show, i would, but i will stay civilized for that said show. there's still that 35% of people who voted no that i believe in."

"on the topic of being removed for homosexuality, a recent interview stated that the pope of the catholic church stated that homosexuality in the church has become culturally fashionable and that it quote on quote, 'worries him.' he also believes that gay people should not be let into convents or seminaries for his fear of them breaking their vow of celibacy quickly."

"added to reasons why i left the catholic church when i was 18," frank whispered to himself because he knew he couldn't say stuff like that on the air.

"there are also accusations that he ignored the sexual assault claims made by victims of abuse by clergy."

"queer catholics have deemed his statements offensive and disagree strongly saying that their sexual orientations are not a matter of fashion, but something that the church should not worry about."

"hello, miss camper, it's so nice to be meeting here with you," frank greeted meagan as she walked in the interviewing studio set, her black high heels clicking on the floor.

"please, call me meagan."

"we know that you know you are here regarding the homophobic actions that have been arising throughout the week. what is your stance on them?" i asked.

"i think they are irrelevant to my life and they don't affect me in the way the people organizing them are trying to get them to. trust me, i'm used to people standing outside my office while simultaneously being loud and obnoxious. picket signs are just another variable added to the mix. as long as no one is getting hurt, i'm indifferent on the situation."

"i think it's amazing that these acts don't offend you" frank started, "but what are your thoughts on the political boycotts?"

"that's all for today, we'll see you guys monday night at 4!" i said charismatically to the camera right before it shut off.

"ryan and ashlee, remember that we need you in makeup at 2pm sharp on monday! that's all, have a nice weekend," lindsey announced to us before she greeted her boyfriend jimmy with a hug.

"hey mikey, i'll be in your dressing room with your stories for next show and some water, you look thirsty after talking for such a long time. just letting you know," pete informed me with a radiating smile.

"thank you so much! i'll meet you in there."

pete speed walked to my dressing room and frank stood up and whispered something in my ear once pete was out of the vicinity that made me want to shit my pants.

"word around the studio is that your man servant pete has a little crush on you."
