"what's up?" pete asked as we all entered the kitchen.

"i don't know, what is up?" gerard replied with a smirk plastered all over his face.

"i know what you're implying and no, we are not explaining what happened last night to you two, of all people," i answered.

"fair enough. we heard enough to know what went on in that unholy room."

"mhm, good for you, frank."

"do you have coffee?" pete questioned in the middle of the conversation.

"yeah, it's almost ready," gerard told him, grabbing the coffee cream from the fridge.

noted: pete's a caffeine junky. no wonder him and gerard get along unusually well.

pete just decided to stay and come to work with us wearing my news hoodie and his jeans. but, surprisingly, when we arrived, no one asked why he was wearing a hoodie with my name on it. i'd like to keep it that way. the quieter we are about this whole thing, the better. i would rather not have a news story on my gay affair with my assistant.

is that what i'm calling it? an affair? maybe it doesn't have to be just an affair. a relationship, even.
