Sal and his dad put down many boxes in their apartment as their cat, Gizmo, trots around, smelling his new home. Sal's dad puts down a box, turning to his son. "This will be our new beginning. We can finally leave what happened in New Jersey behind us now...Why don't you go explore the building and make some friends while I finish unpacking?"

Sal slightly nods as his dad smiles down at him. His dad then goes to his room while Gizmo rubs his head against Sal's leg. He looks down and pet's his cat, smiling behind his prosthetic mask. He looked around the small apartment before heading out.

The first thing Sal notice was a police officer guarding room 403, where there's police tape covering the door. Curious and confused, he walks over to the Policeman, greeting at first. "Hello." The cop doesn't say anything while Sal proceeds to question him, "Why are you standing here?" The police officer looks down at him, grunting with annoyance. "I'm protecting nosey little freaks like you from seeing what they ought not to see. Now scram. I don't get paid to babysit."

Ignoring what he said, Sal questions him one more time. "What happened in that room?" The cop lowly sighs, eyeing him. "Police business, kid. Why don't you run along back to your parents?"

"...I wish I could..."

"What was that, wise ass?"

"Nothing."

"That's what I thought. Stupid, weirdo kid..."

Sal thought it was a good time to leave the grumpy cop alone and turns back over to room 401. He knocks on the door. Rustling can be heard from inside as the door gently opens. A woman looks down at Sal and smiles, "Hello, how can I help you?" Sal points to his apartment door, introducing. "Hello, my names Sal Fisher and me and my dad just moved in next door. I just wanted to come and say hi."

The woman's smile grows brighter. "Oh, that's right! I completely forgot someone was moving next door. Anyways though, my names (M/n) (L/n). I have a daughter that's around your age too. Her name is (Y/n), though, she's currently hanging out with a friend at the moment. When she comes back, mind if I introduced her to you?" Under Sal's mask, he forms a small smile. "Sure."

"It was nice to meet you, Sal. I have to go back to cooking, bye!" (M/n) waves at the blue-haired boy and closes the door. Sal started to explore the apartment and introduce himself to everyone in the apartments. There was this one person that Sal was a little creeped out from, but he ignored it and continued to walk around.

He went to the elevator and press the third floor. He steps out to see a janitor to his right and goes to greet her. "Hey." The janitor stops mopping and flinches before looking at Sal. "Oh my! Sorry, you just startled me a little. You must be one of the new guys from 402, yeah? With all the excitement going on today, I haven't had a chance to stop in and say "Hi"."

"Yeah, it's just me and my dad. My name is Sal."

"Pleasure to meet ya, Sal. I'm Lisa. I take care of this place. Keep things up and runnin'. So if ya ever need help with anything, don't hesitate to ask, ok?" Sal nods, "Sure, thanks." She smiles at him. "You're quite welcome." Sal puts his hands in his jean pockets, starting to ask, "Is there anything fun to do around here?"
