The two rush out and head to the elevator. Sal pushed the fourth floor and the door closes. They start to ascend up. There was silence. (Y/n) didn't really like it being too quiet, so she tried to start up a conversation.

"So... do you have any pets?" Sal turns to her, nodding. "Yeah, I have a pet cat. His name is Gizmo." (Y/n) smiles. "Oh, well, I also have a pet cat too. Her name is (C/n). She's an odd one. She actually likes swimming in the water compared to other cats." She chuckled until the elevator doors open.

They walk out and turn to Sal's door. He opens the door. The two enter the home and into Sal's room. The first thing (Y/n) saw was Gizmo sleeping on Sal's mattress. (Y/n) smiled and started to stroke the cat's fur.

Sal watched (Y/n) gawk over his cat for a brief moment before bringing the walkie-talkie near his prosthetic mask. "Ok, (Y/n) and I are in my room now." At this, (Y/n) stops petting Gizmo and walks over to Sal to hear Larry's voice boom. "Alright, let's do this! I'm gonna make the call, give me a second."

There was a pause before Larry talked again. "Ok, it's done. I heard a bunch of hustling upstairs so I think it worked! Go see if you guys can get into 403 now." With that, he dismisses. Sal puts the walkie-talkie away and the two leave his apartment.

They look over to see the cop who was guarding the door gone. They rushed over and crawl through the police tape. Once they enter the room, the first thing they notice was blood everywhere. (Y/n) lightly gasped. "Oh, gosh..."

"Yeah..." Sal mumbled, inspecting the whole room. "Let's just... look for any evidence." (Y/n) nods as the two looked around. While looking, (Y/n) notices three pony figures sitting on a lamp desk by the couch. "Hey Sal, there's these little figures." He walks over to her as she continues to examine them. "Looks like one is missing, I can see a small clearing in the blood."

Sal looks at the ponies for a moment before slightly gasping. "That's it! I know how we can get him! Let's get out of here and go down to the basement to tell Larry!" Sal grabs her wrist as they zoom out. They head to the elevator and descend down to the basement. Sal looked down at his hand, realizing he was still holding her.

He lets go. "Sorry." (Y/n) shrugged it off. "It's fine." After the elevator opened its doors, Sal and (Y/n) rushed over to Larry's room while Sal started to explain to Larry. "Of course, Sanderson and Charley both collected those weird toys. They're nuts over those things. Mrs. Sanderson got this super rare one or something. She was telling me about it that day I was fixin' her toilet. Anyways, I bet you Charley couldn't resist taking it! In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if that's why he offed her in the first place! That dude always did give me the creeps. Just something unsettling about him, ya know?"

(Y/) lets out a breathless, nervous, chuckle, "Wow, this is crazy. This guy definitely needs to get caught. We can't live in a building with a murderer." Larry nods firmly. "Exactly. That's why you guys gotta get into Charley's room and see if you can find that toy."

"Wait, why do we have to do it? We snuck into 403." Sal puzzled Larry, who responds. "Charley isn't too fond of me. There's no way he'd let me in. He accused me of stealing snacks from his room. Snacks! Fuckin' fatty!" Sal sighs, "Alright, alright. We'll do it. Won't be able to sleep at night otherwise."

"Cool. You're the man, Sally and (N/n)!" Larry turns to (Y/n), handing her a bag, "Here, take this baggie. You can slip the toy in without touching it." (Y/n) rolls a sweat. "Why do I get the feeling you've done this before..." Larry just chuckles. "Haha, Nah. I just watch too much TV."

After the three had a small talk, Sal and (Y/n) headed over to Charley's room, but on the way, (Y/n) stops Sal. "Wait, let's head over to Mr. Addison first. Larry told me before that the adults here like his tea for some reason." Sal nodded and they go down to the first floor. (Y/n) knocked on Mr. Addison's door as the two notice the mail slot that was on his door, open.

"Hello, young sir, new resident of Addison Apartments, room 402. Hello to you, (Y/n). How may I be of service?" (Y/n) cleared her throat and stated. "Addison Tea, please and thank you!"

"Yes, coming right up!" It didn't take long when Mr. Addison held out the tea through the mail slot. "There you are kids, please enjoy!" (Y/n) grabs the tea and the two hurry over to Charley's apartment. Once they arrived, Sal knocked on the door and waited for a response. "Who is it?" Charley asked from inside. "It's me, Sal. I brought my friend (Y/n) with me."

"Come in."

Sal opens the door and holds it for (Y/n) to enter. Once she enters, he closes the door while (Y/n)'s eyes darted over to the figurines and notices one of them has blood stained on it. Charley looked at (Y/n) before looking down at her hands to see the Addison Tea. "Ooo, is that Addison Tea I smell?" He blurted, making (Y/n) jump a bit.

She nodded, "Yeah, we just got some from--" Charley interrupted her though, "Oh, I just love Addison Tea! Give it here!" With no hesitation, she hands it over to him as he chugs it down. After drinking the whole tea, Charley sighed. "Ahh, so tasty. So relaxing..." He then passed out.

(Y/n) quickly rushes over to the pony and tries to put it in the bag, but Charley wakes up, making her quickly stuffing the bag away. Charley looks between the two. "Ah, must have dozed off for a second there. I hope you weren't thinking about touching my ponies while I was sleeping, (Y/n). I was starting to like you!" His words made (Y/n) grind her teeth together, especially the last few words he said. Sal notices this rather fast and defend (Y/n). "Oh, no, she was just looking at them."

"Good, good. I'm glad. Say, if you two get any more Addison Tea, I would love some more! Mr. Addison already cut me off for the day."

The two reluctantly nod and rush out of the apartment. (Y/n) lets out a loud sigh as Sal asks, "Hey, you alright?" She waves him off. "I'm fine, I'm fine. He just REALLY creeped me out." She shook her head, sighing one more time.

"Let's just get more Addison Tea for Charley..."
