Thank you for 4k!

"Thank you for telling me your story. I think I may be of some assistance with your guy's exploration of the paranormal," Todd said, "Specifically, I have a suspicion that an apparition resides in my bathroom." Both Sal and (Y/n) speak simultaneously. "Huh, really?"
Todd nods. "Yes, it does seem to be a strange coincidence that your Megan and my apparition are both found in bathrooms. However, it could also be that water pipes act as some sort of conductor for them. Though, that is only speculation on my part. Do any of you have the Gear Bear cartridge with you now?"
Sal nods, bringing it out. "Yeah." Todd states. "Perfect. Let's go check out the bathroom." They three trots over to Todd's bathroom and close the door behind them. "What do you two usually do to call upon Megan? Does the Gear Boy always light up when she's near?" Todd questions between the two as (Y/n) answers. "It doesn't light up every time. Usually, we just start talking to her. Sometimes she comes out, sometimes she doesn't."
"Ok, you two go ahead and try the same thing here so we can attempt to summon the spirit," Todd states again as the two begin to call out. "Hello, is anyone here with us?" Sal questioned as (Y/n) added, "We're not going to hurt you, we're your friends. Hello? Is anyone there?"
No response.
Sal sighs, turning to Todd. "Nothing is happening and the game isn't lighting up either." Todd inspects the Gear Boy, stroking his chin a bit. "Hm, I have an idea. Let me see that. I bet I can modify your Gear Boy to help better detect supernatural hot spots."
"Cool, sounds good to us."
"I'll need two things in order to complete the alteration. First, I'll need something to amplify the device's reception; and second, something to boost its electrical output." Todd explained. "So... like an antenna and a battery pack?" (Y/n) quizzed as Todd lightly nods. "Sure. I'll be in my room, once you guys are ready."
"Wait, I think I have something for the power," Sal said, digging in his pocket and pulling out the walkie-talkie, "Will this work?" Todd grabs it before nodding. "Yes, the battery from your walkie-talkie will work perfectly. Good thinking, Sally Face!"
With that, Todd goes into his room as the two leave his apartment. "Do you think Larry has an antenna?" (Y/n) asked as her and Sal walk over to the elevator. Sal shrugged. "Maybe." Walking in the elevator, Sal inserts the key card and they descend down to the basement. They enter Larry's room and greet him. Larry and (Y/n) have a small conversation while Sal scanned around before finding the Police Radio.
"Hey, mind if (Y/n) and I borrow the antenna from your scanner?" Larry slightly nods. "Uh, I guess that'd be ok." Sal grabs the antenna and thanks him before the two hurry on back to Todd's room. They enter his apartment and his room as Sal pulled out the antenna. "Will this work for the reception?" He asked.
"Yes, this will work perfectly! With the two components, you guys retrieved and my own equipment, I can adequately make the modifications to the Gear Boy I spoke of earlier. Give me a moment to get it ready." For a couple of minutes, Todd started to modify the Gear Boy and eventually, he finished it. "Ok. All set.. Behold! The Super Gear Boy!"
Todd showed the two, making them raise a brow a bit. Sal grabs the new 'Super Gear Boy'. "Um, cool?" Sal mumbled. Todd reassured him. "Don't worry, you can still play games on it! It'll only be in ghost hunting mode while this strange cartridge is in it."
"Oh, awesome! You had me worried for a second." Sal chuckles while Todd continues on with his sentence, "However, I, unfortunately, needed a few extra parts from your walkie-talkie and wasn't able to salvage it. I hope that is alright." (Y/n) sighs. "Larry's not gonna be so happy about that. It's ok, though, it's for a good cause." She smiled shortly.
Todd nodded and began to explain to the two how to use it. "Ok, I think we get the gist of it," Sal muttered. "I suggest that we take it for a test run in my bathroom," Todd suggested as the three make their way over to the bathroom. After entering, Sal presses the button on the Super Gear Boy to activate the ghost hunting mode, but nothing happens as this makes Todd furrow his eyebrows. "Hm.... maybe I-"
Then suddenly, a ghost formed out of Todd's toilet as Sal and (Y/n)'s eyes widen while Todd's mouth drops. "It worked!" Sal and (Y/n) exclaimed. "Holy crap," Todd mumbled.
"Hello. What's the matter?' Sal asked the weeping ghost as he said. "I never thought he'd kill them. I... it's all my fault."
"Who?"
"Stacy and her daughter. Oh god! What a fool I was to fall for a married woman!" He cried more as (Y/n) said. "It's never a crime to follow your heart." He just continued to cry. "You must be a romantic like I... was... It's kind of you to say but I know better than that." Sal tagged himself in. "We want to help you. Why haven't you left this place?"
"...We can never leave..."
"What do you mean? You can't pass on?"
Silence from the ghost.
"What's keeping you here? Have you seen a demon with red eyes? Can you tell us anythin--"
"No, no, NO, NO!" The ghost started to scream, making the three jump. "What? What is it?" (Y/n) puzzled. "He's here!" The ghost shrieked, making Sal question. "Who? The red-eyed man? The one who killed Stacy her daughter?"
"I have to go. I'm sorry."
And with that, the ghost left. "That was a fully formed and conscious apparition. I've never seen anything like that." Todd stated, mouth still hanging. The two look over at him and ask. "You ok?" He nods. "Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. It's just one thing to read about the paranormal and formulate theories and a whole other thing to actually experience it."
"I know what you mean. It's a lot to take in." Sal consoled. Todd clears his throat, straightening his posture. "Well, we have some work to do! I think I've had my fill of excitement for today, so I'll stay here and so some research. I want to look into the history of Addison Apartments to see if I can find anything about past residents and about the supposed murders."
(Y/n) smiled. "That'd be really helpful. While you do that, Sal and I are going to search for more supernatural hot spots." Todd replies. "Perfect. Oh, and by the way, I noticed some extraneous static around the game cartridge. You may want to check it out to make sure it's ok." He explains, looking at Sal.
Sal and (Y/n) then leave Todd's apartment and search for the hot spots.
