Chapter Seven

"Seth, why did that girl just kiss you?" a voice asked. I turned around to see the head cheerleader, Macy, staring at me with her possy behind her.

"I'm not sure." I lied.

"Well, why would she kiss you then? And who is she anyway?" Macy probed.

"I'm not sure why she kissed me. And she is a new girl in school that lives by me...I'm suppossed to welcome her and hang out with her and stuff."

"Whatever." Macy blew me off.

I waited outside of the salon, until a cop came over and asked why I was loitering there. I told him that I was waiting for a friend, and he told me to go wait somewhere else. I sent a text to Cleo, telling her that I would be in the food court waiting for her. A text came back saying, "Ok lov u!" I took a seat in the food court. Macy and her friends were staring at me like crazy; yeah, I was popular in school, but they didn't have to follow me around like the leader of their wolf pack. I saw some really hot girl coming towards me. She had black hair on the bottom, with blond on the top. There were blue streaks in her hair, and her eyes were outlined with black eyeliner, and mascara covered her lashes. Black eye shadow covered her eyelid. She wore super tight, grey skinny jeans, an Evanscene, tight fitting tshirt, and some military boots. Her hair was teased out and spiky, and God, she was hot. Ugh, I shouldn't think these things about other women. She sat down next to me, and a familiar smile spread across her face.

"Cleo?!" I gasped.

"Do you like?" she asked seductively.

"Cleo, you look HOT!" I exclaimed. I saw Macy and her possy walk closer to our table. They lounged right next to us.

"Aww! Thanks!" Cleo said. She reached over and started to kiss me, right as Macy and her possy stood in front of our table.

"Why are you kissing him?!" Macy screamed at Cleo.

"Cleo, how many times do I have to tell you that you can't kiss me?!" I yelled at Cleo. Her face looked shocked.

"When have you ever said that?!" Cleo yelled back, "I thought that when two people really like each other that they kiss! Well, excuse me!" she spat at me.

"Cleo, you have to understand that the feelings are not mutual; go away." Cleo looked at me in disbelief. She then turned and ran away.

"Yeah, you better run, you Emo Freak!" Macy yelled after Cleo, "Now that the little freak is gone, do you wanna get it on?" she asked seductively...well tried to ask seductively (she failed miserably).

"I have to go." I lied and left.
