I parted our lips and started back at the gang. All had their own versions of shock written all over their face.

"Well, carry on eating. I'll be out with the best JD in town." I said and winked at Johnny while Two-Bit gave me a smirk.

"Fuck..." Ponyboy mumbled and looked at Dally and I.

"Fuck indeed, Pony!" Steve said in a happy, surprised tone.

"Pay up little buddy." Darry looked to Soda who rolled his eyes.

I gave them a confused look and Soda explained, "Darry bet that you two would get together."

"And what did you bet?" I sassed him.

"I thought Pony wouldn't be such a dick." Soda mumbled and I smiled.

"We ain't together. That kiss was simply to prove a point, didn't mean anything." I shrugged and walked out behind Dally.

That was probably a shock to the gang, especially Ponyboy. I miss the gang. It had been much to long since I had seen them.

Once we had walked out and walked down the street.

"That was epic." I said in an obvious tone finally after silence.

"Real awesome." Dal almost sounded..sarcastic?

"Something bothering you Romeo?" I teased and nudged his shoulder.

"That kiss didn't mean anything at all?" He stopped and turned towards me.

"I mean, not much. It was planned out anyways." I stopped as well and faced his beautiful self.

"Well hell." He looked down and rested his hands on his hips.

"Did it mean something to you?" I asked and tilted his head up. He was probably five inches taller than me.

"Yeah." He said in an inaudible voice, I could barely even hear it.

"How you feeling Dally?" I looked into his glossy eyes. He was crying.

"I don't know." His voice cracked in eery pitch.

"Dallas." I questioned.

His beautiful, yet mysterious eyes met mine. That's when I saw it.

Dallas Tucker Winston was in love.

So in love he didn't know how to handle the beautiful feeling.

He was confused with his emotions. He was angry since the feeling was unknown. But most of all, he was hurt.

"Oh no." I said and looked down.

He thought I didn't love him back. Did I?

"What?" His eyes looked concerned. Through all this pain, he still managed to care.

"Dal, I see right through you. I know what you're thinking." I smiled slightly to him.

The street light shining down on us highlighted his beautiful face.

"You know what I feel then, so I'm sorry." He returned the smile. The silence that followed that was deadly.

"Kiss me." I spoke in a serious tone. His eyes darted from the ground to my lips.

"What?" His infamous New York accent said quietly and as if he were extremely bewildered.

"Do it." I said again and transferred my gaze to his soft, pink lips.

He leaned down and connected our lips. This kiss was nothing like the one in the Curtis house.

It was full of love, compassion, and thought. A feeling I don't think I'd ever get tired of.

It was quite beautiful, the relationship that blossomed between Dallas and I.

I pulled apart after a second of our lips slowly gliding against each other's and gazed at his rustic eyes.

"I think I feel it too." I smiled wide. Dallas Winston was never one to openly display happiness, but right then, his cheeks turned magenta and his teeth shown very much.

His smile was gorgeous. Him in general, inside and out, was gorgeous.

I knew deep down I was in love as well. With a JD, a criminal, a ruckus and disgrace to society. Call him what you want, but to me he was just a big hunk of heart.

Behind all of our acts, him and I were the same. Raw, emotional teenagers in love. Luckily, it was with each other.

I grabbed his hair and tugged him in for a kiss, just to feel it again. The sparks, the emotions, the love, the passion.

When I was little, my fairytale books always said love was some magical thing. And until now, I thought it was a bunch of junk.

But now I see it was all true, everything I had read. Boy, was I happy it was true.

Here I was, tearing up on the sidewalk about love while compassionately kissing a crying criminal.

But we were in love, the salty tears flowing through the kiss didn't matter. All that mattered was that our love was so strong we didn't even need to say it aloud.
