Home is supposed to be a place where you feel safe, at peace with yourself, and love. Home is where your mind is attacked with memories. From the first time you fell off your bike to finding the love of your life. Home is where the heart is.
No matter where you go you should always remember where you came from.
Sydney, Australia was a beautiful place. Nothing could ever compare. Full of mystery, adventure, and memories. Especially for four boys: Luke, Ashton, Michael, and Calum, born and raised in Sydney. They loved being home.
These boys formed a band. Not just as a band but also as best pals. They took care of each other and made sure that they put their dreams first. Their band is call 5 Seconds of Summer, barely starting out. Being formed in 2011, things were still going slow. Having had a few radio station interviews was all they had, but nothing that ever had them leave home.
Until one day, they were offered an opportunity to travel to the United States, the opportunity being a filler band that plays at the concert "Life Is Beautiful." The concert is filled with big time artists, playing there own set. One of the performers gets sick or takes to long, 5SOS is called to be the replacement. The filler. The tour would last a year and half. The four Aussie boys would experience a lot of America. It was an obvious decision, they knew they needed to take it.
They had to leave home. Meaning, leaving their families, friends, and for a few boys, their girlfriends.
But what happens when they get back? After all, they did get a lot of attention on the tour. Starting to form a fanbase, and taking a few months longer than they should have, will home ever be the same again? Will things change? But the real question is, is it for the better or for the worse?
A home can't stay the same for long.
Things happen. People change. Hearts break.
