Summertime in Shangri La...
Airis was sitting by the spring tending to the Calla Lilies while smiling like a love
struck fool. She had a big surprise for Endor and Phil. She was humming an elven lullaby as she tended to the flowers making sure they were healthy, and frosted the flowers and leaves again. Her frost swirled in a beautiful design along the flowers and leaves. Suddenly she heard a loving whistle behind her.Airis smiled only one person whistled to her like that. Slowly she stood up and turned to see her beloved husband leaning in the doorway smirking at her. Endor's hair was now a coal black color while his voice was the deep and charming Scottish/Russian type of accent that she had come to love.
"I knew I would find ye 'ere. Now get over 'ere you..." Endor smirked while saying as he motioned for her to come to him with his index finger she did so and when he held out his hand for her, she took it willingly and was pulled into the embrace of a passionate kiss. Endor pulled away with a loving smile on his face. "Ah Aye will never get tired of that mah love..."
Airis giggled slightly and smiled, "I know darling, and neither will I..." she leaned forward and kissed her beloved husband with undying love as he placed his hands upon the sides of her face in order to deepen the kiss further. Endor smiled when he pulled away saying to his beautiful wife.
"Care to join me for a walk mah dearest heart?"
"A walk would be lovely..."
Together Endor led his beloved wife down the mountainside. It was summertime around early June and the Yeti's were tending to Airis's famous Yak herd; or more like Phil's famous yak herd if you asked Endor. With as much time as Phil, spent trying to flatten him beneath the hooves of those boivines it was pretty clear that Phil was the herder of that particular yak herd and not Airis. The Yak mothers all knew Airis well and were overly calm towards her.
Minga the counterpart of the male matriarch Yak named Bull, huffed and bellowed at Endor as he approached her. Endor had tried his hand at milking her once in a dare against Phil. Long story short Minga did not approve of him milking her and kicked him into a snowdrift. Luckily, he didn't break any bones.
Phil was laughing his hairy head off when Endor got kicked, that was until he got charged at by one very angry female Yak. Since then the relationship between Endor and Minga, the Yak was a rocky one. Minga had a calf with her so she was extra protective about her baby and made sure Endor knew when he crossed the boundary line.
Minga bellowed at him she was ready to call for her counterpart Bull, the angry father of her baby, who was waiting to charge; Bull also known as Phil's companion in crime, for backup. Airis saw Bull's eyes staring at Minga and then towards Endor his massive circled hooves dug diches into the ground. He was ready to charge at Endor. Quickly Airis placed her hand upon Minga's mussel and stroked the beasts head and spoke in a soothing motherly tone while keeping her eyes locked on Bull in case he charged.
"It's alright Minga Endor's not here to milk you...He and Phil both learned their lessons I can assure you that. He just wants to say hi."
Minga huffed, cold mountain air came out from her nose. She snorted in annoyance and allowed Endor to pet her. She did swat him with her tail though; just to get her point across while Bull, who saw that display, snorted in approval of his counterpart's action and went back to grazing in peace. Airis sighed in relief only to laugh as the baby yaks were jumping a running all around them. Endor laughed when a baby yak ran into him from behind knocking him to the ground.
"Rambunctious little younglin's aren't they. They 'ave so much energy. Their mammas must 'ave a hard time with them tha's for sure!"
If it was one thing Endor did like about the Yaks was the calves, they were just soooooo cute. Minga's calf walked right up to Airis; it was a dark brown bull calf like it's papa. Airis bent down on her knees and allowed the calf to come right up to her. It sniffed curiously at her hair only to step back and sneeze.
