Chapter XL

OMNISCIENT

People talk. People judge. People look.

And Dahyun did not escape from those kind of people. As soon as they heard the news that she and Jimin were dating after his relationship with Sana that ended eight months ago, they just went crazy. They talked how Dahyun is such a slut for flirting a senior. They judged her just for being Jimin's new girlfriend. They look at her as if she's a relationship ruiner.

It was normal for Jimin to walk her to school everyday before he goes to work, but people just couldn't shut their mouths when it comes to them. A lot of people doesn't like them at all because of Jimin's past relationships. They say that Seulgi and Jimin matched the most. Well, that's just their opinion.

It was also normal for Dahyun to wprry about herself once she steps on the school grounds. She gets talked about a lot. She gets bullied for being Jimin's girlfriend. There is nothing wrong with that, actually. The crowd just wants an issue because they can't live without them.

Jimin cupped Dahyun's face before leaving her, "I love you." He kissed the tip of her nose before fleeing.

Dahyun giggled, "I love you the most." Out of Jimin's past relationships, this may just be the most perfect yet. Seulgi, Mina and Sana hurted him before and even though he's not certain of what might happen to him and her, he still let himself fall, just like what Sana adviced.

Love really is the most precious thing in the world. The world revolves because of it. Jimin's world is Dahyun.

She fled and waved her hand for the last time. Jimin watched her go, making sure that she won't get bullied right in front of his eyes. He knows that as soon as he drives away from the campus, the crowd will start rumors and even though he wants those senseless talks to stop, he can't do anything.

Everyday, Dahyun has been telling him about those people and everyday, he asks her if she can still handle it. He's afraid that she's going to stop their relationship because of the pressure that she feels. He's likely to be hurt in the end if that would happen, but he doesn't want her to give up. He wants her to stay strong for the two of them even though Dahyun is secretly hurting.

Those blabbing by the people feels like being shot by an arrow right through the heart; piercing every muscle and vein inside of it. Jimin doesn't know that Dahyun takes those arrows from her heart and heals herself by words of encouragement. She loves Jimin and she doesn't know why.

Things between them were faster than they expected.

After that karaoke session, they had drinks in the night and Dahyun had to bring Jimin to his apartment, but she doesn't know where he lives. She tried contacting someone, but they all did not answer their phones, even Seulgi. Those people may be asleep at those times.

Even if she doesn't want to, she brought him to her house. She lives with her parents and her brother, Myungsoo. Her family was a bit surprised when she brought a drunk guy home, but they still attended to his needs. They made him sleep in Myungsoo's room for a while, while Myungsoo shared Dahyun's room.

Later that morning, Jimin is too sober. Knowing that he might still have hangover from their drinking session that night, Dahyun cooked a hangover soup for him. Their friendship started that way.

Until Jimin, the one who falls easily for girls, fell for her. He saw her sincerity and kindness. She was pure, unlike everyone he met back then. He can't help comparing his love interests before.

Seulgi has a strong personality. She's frank. She's also rude to people who are rude to her. She's a warfreak, but despite all of her faults, she can still be considered a woman. Not a girl, but a woman since she matured after her realisations of breaking up with the most important lover of her life.

Mina is also strong, but she has a sensitive side. She's fragile. She already had experience too much pain inside her heart that she sometimes can't feel what love is. She's a tsundere. She's a monster.

Sana is the caring type. Her body language is hugging or any physical contact, but she was a fraud. She's a liar. Her love for Jimin is fake. She left her without telling him why, but because of her, Jimin learned the third lesson of being in love.

'Love is the most precious thing in the world.'

And because of those, he let himself fall for Dahyun. Their situation is quite hard, but they won't just give up. The two of them are strong. They also love each other, so they are willing to cross any oceans for them.

Since it's so fast for them, they don't even realise that it's their anniversary. Jimin was busy at work, but Dahyun remembered it. Even though she was quite tired of meeting her deadlines for that day, she still managed to buy a cake and cook something very simple for her boyfriend.

She stayed at his unit, though her mom has been nagging her to come home early since it's raining and there might be heavy traffic.

She decided to call Jimin, "Jagi~ Where are you?"

"I'm walking towards my unit now, jagi." His voice felt tired, so Dahyun was a bit guilty. "You there?"

"Uh, yes, jagi!" She energetically answered. As if on cue, the door of the unit opened, so she threw her phone aside and grabbed thr cake. "Surprise!" She yelled out as soon as Jimin takes a step inside.

He laughed so hard that he almost rolled on the floor. "Yah, you're so tired now. You should've just went to sleep." Jimin commanded her, but she just spit out her tongue and teased him.

"Make a wish and blow the candle." Dahyun told him, so he closed his eyes and wished. I wish...I wish Dahyun wouldn't hurt me in the end. I wish she's the right one. Please give it to me this time, please. After wishing, he leaned towards the candle and blew it. He mischievously took some of the icing and rubbed it against Dahyun's lips. Her eyes widened when he stole a kiss to eat the icing. "Yaaaaah! Park Jimin!" She shouted, but he again, just laughed at her.

She placed the cake aside and they started playing together.

Their two years of being together is as swift as a boomerang. It felt like those years passed by easily.

Jimin, honestly, was scared that that day would actually come. He's still arranged and now that he's committed to Dahyun scared him because he doesn't want to hurt her.

He also never told her that he was arranged. Not everyone knows it and Seulgi never told Dahyun about it also.

Mina looked around the area and smelled the breeze of Korea. It's been almost three years or so since she last stepped on the lands of Korea because she stayed at the States to hide.

"I want to go grocery shopping before we go," Mina told Joshua. Yes, it was Joshua, the one who has a "small dick" according to Mina. "Is it okay for the baby?" She glanced at them and smiled as soon as she heard the baby clapped her hands enthusiastically.

"Seems like our baby wants to grocery shop, too." Joshua drove the three of them to the supermarket before heading home.

She came back home since Hyorin and Jooyoung's wedding is taking place three days before the actual day. She also needed a bit of vacation. After all, it was hard to manage a bar back in the States.

They arrived at the market right away. They went to the ketchup section first before buying their essentials. She just likes ketchup, that's all. And also, it's her priority.

JIMIN'S POV

"What do you like baby?" Mina? No, Jimin. She's dead.

"He likes Mommy Mina, okay?" I gulped and looked for that voice. Someone mentioned Mina's name and I can't help being bothered. I stopped at the ketchup area of the market and saw a tall guy with the woman whom I thought was dead. They're playing with the baby and they seemed like a happy...family.

Mina...is that you? Are you really alive?
