Conway's family was very wealthy; his parents owned a large chain of Asian cuisine restaurants. So naturally, Conway was used to getting whatever he wanted ever since he was an egg. It wasn't until his 19th birthday last year, after seeing another old friend show off an engagement ring online, that he realized he wanted a person instead of fancy toys...

He's been wanting Hachi ever since he first met the Octoling in a Turf War match a year ago. But with Tres always in the way, it was difficult; when Conway though Hachi was alone Tres somehow always managed to be there to pull Hachi away from him. And almost nothing could get Hachi to leave Tres, not money; not pearl necklaces; not hardcover books; nothing. Yet no matter how much Conway chased after Hachi, there were still other kids he targeted...

Today he was stalking a young girl named Ula; an Inkling, 16 years old, pretty bright blue hair she had tied back beneath a sunhat. Ula came to Inkopolis Square at about 12:30 pm everyday. First she got lunch at Crusty Sean's along with a few friends; two other female Inklings. After lunch, they all went and did Turf Wars for an hour until the stages rotated. When they were done, Ula went off on her own down a backstreet to the apartment she lived in.

Conway sat by the lobby entrance for Turf Wars as he waited for Ula to come out. He would've gone in and tried to get into a few battle rooms she was in, but decided against it. He felt too tired to battle...

Soon enough, Pearl and Marina announced the stage rotation and kids came out of the lobby, among them was  Ula and her friends. Conway watched them giggle over the matches they played before they said their goodbyes and Ula went down a backstreet by herself. Conway started to follow her.

He followed her until he was sure there wasn't anyone around that'd see them. Then he got closer to her and grabbed her by her arm.

Of course, Ula screamed, but he quickly silenced her by putting a hand over her mouth.

"It's ok! I didn't mean to startle you, darling," Conway smiled at her.

"What the hell?! Who are..." Ula furrowed her brow. "Wait... oh, I know you! You're the asshole that spawn camped my friends and I last week!" She cried.

"Can you blame me? You looked so cute in that dress you were wearing that day, I didn't wanna take me eyes off you~"

    Ula scoffed.

"If that's flirting you're doing, it's not working, you fucking creep!"

She turned away and Conway harshly grabbed her arm and pushed her against a wall. The action startled Ula and she gasped upon being locked under an intimidating stare.

"I don't take kindly to being called rude names," He spat. "I'm trying to be a nice guy. So don't make me do something I don't want to do, sweetheart."

He leaned closer to her, never breaking eye contact.

"I always get what I want..."

Ula swung a knee up, nailing Conway in the stomach. When he hunched over she threw him aside, then turned into a squid and dived into a sewer grate. Conway would've gone after her, but he was frozen on his knees, gripping his stomach when an indescribable pain surged through him. He felt something rise in his stomach, and quickly slammed a hand over his mouth trying to swallow the painful urge.

When Conway brought his hand away from his mouth, there was a trace of black ink...

"What the hell...? God, I'm done with mom's fucking diet shit..."

He got back to his feet, rubbing his lips. Conway looked toward the grate Ula had gone down and clicked his tongue before walking back toward the square. She'd come back out at some point, and he'd find her again no problem.

Besides, he didn't want to miss that Octoling with the wild green braids that showed up around 2:15.
