Lu Juo was once again enraged by the scene of the crippled maid in front of him and his sobbing wife. He wanted to explode in anger from how much Lu Miyan made him go mad today, she was just so rebellious that he doesn't even follow her own father's orders.

If only he had listened to him and just obediently followed his orders!

Don't blame me for being cruel to you, Lu Miyan because you brought this upon yourself.

This was something that Lu Juo disliked, he didn't want when people weaker than him doesn't listen because he was used to being in contro of everything.

But this daughter of his was just something that he cant control, he asked his wife about what happened and Qin Nanging stuttered when she was explaining about what happened and the maids even backed her up.

So everyone was against Lu Miyan and wanted nothing more but to send her to her death.

Lu Juo rubbed his temples from the events that was enfolding that day and he gestured for the guards to drag Lu Miyan after him, the rest of the people followed and Lu An'yu released herself from the Crown prince's embrace and jumped to her mothers.

The Crown prince's heart melted at the sight of the loving mother and daughter and followed after one of the guards, leaving behind the sobbing mother and daughter.

They discreetly exchanged knowing looks with each other and knew that their plan was going well, they walked behind Kang Zhen.

They arrived at a large room where there was a lot of seats arranged and there was a big space at the center of the room, Lu Juo sat down at the chair that has encrusted jewels at the side to show how much wealth they have.

Lu Juo has prepared a chair especially for the Crown Prince that was made out of gold and the Crown Prince was pleased with the arrangement. The mother and daughter sat at the right side of Lu Juo in their silver chairs.

The elders were in the room and wasn't shocked to see that Lu Miyan was in trouble again, they were almost getting bored of seeing her being sentenced to torture for a day.

They felt like there was something different about the young girl though, she was looking uninterested in the punishment that she was about to receive.

"Lu Miyan." Lu Juo started. "You have not only harmed a maid but also crippled her to the point that she cannot even cultivate anymore."

The elders widened their eyes in incredulity from Lu Juo's words and their eyes had some skepticism.

How can a useless trash like her be able to defeat a maid? Not to mention that the maid is a low brown level.

Lu Miyan's face was unfazed and it made people want to crush her from how calm she was, before Lu Juo can announce a perfect punishment for Lu Miyan.

The giant doors opened and in came Lu Zhiyan with a frightened look on his face of seeing his little sister kneeling on the floor with the guards holding her down.

Lu Zhiyan didn't waste anymore time and rushed to Lu Miyan's side, he was actually busy earlier but when she heard that her sister is in trouble, he didn't hesitate to run back to her.

That's how much Lu Zhiyan really cared about her.

She wasn't surprised to see that her brother came to her but she was surprised by how quick he came, she already knew that this news were going to travel to her brother's ears but she didn't believe that it was that fast.

"Lu Zhiyan! What are you doing?" Lu Juo asked his son with impatience seeping through his voice because he couldn't wait to ease his heart with the thought of Lu Miyan suffering.

"Why are you doing this to Lu Miyan?"

"She crippled a maid and even offended the Crown prince!" Lu Juo said indignantly at his son's stubbornness of protecting his sister, Lu Juo can accept Lu Zhiyan as his son because he was already about to rank up to orange level at his age.

He couldn't waste talent so he accepted Lu Zhiyan as his son but not Lu Miyan because she hasn't even be able to step on the brown level which is pathetic because even some of the maids and guards of the Lu household is in the brown level.

Lu Zhiyan's eyebrow rose up and he thought that it was all a joke. "Father, Lu Miyan is not even at the brown level so how could she possibly have harmed a brown leveled maid?"

What he said made sense to the elders because it was impossible that Lu Miyan, a good-for-nothing with only a beautiful face, was able to defeat and give someone, who's in the brown level, a serious injury.

It was almost as impossible as a beast being defeated by a mere mouse!

Lu Zhiyan turned his gaze to Qi Nanging. "Maybe they are conspiring against my sister." He sent a look to Qi Nanging's direction which made the old woman's legs melt.

She wanted to keep silent but things didn't go the way she wanted to because Lu An'yu rebuked at the accusation. "Why would we conspire against our own blood? This is treason!"

Qi Nanging wanted to put something in Lu An'yu's mouth to stop her from speaking but she just sighed and wanted to bury her head somewhere in attempt to save herself some face.

Lu Zhiyan raised an eyebrow at his half sibling. "Why are you being defensive? I didn't mention names."

"Well clearly you were looking at us so it must be us you're talking abou-"

Lu Zhiyan laughed but his laugh made everyone in the room feel like there was a hand on their neck. "I was referring to the maids."

Lu Miyan was silently observing the faces of the guilty ones that was sitting with their hands gripping the sides of the chair and she felt satisfaction when she noticed the color draining from Lu An'yu face and Qi Nanging's faces.

A well deserved faceslap.

Lu Juo was startled by the sudden confrontation in front of him that it took a while before he regained his voice. "I conclude that Lu Miyan is innocent and have the other maids dealt with for framing Lu Miyan." He declared.

The daughter and mother's face were full of despise for Lu Miyan getting saved again but they hoped that Lu Miyan's luck would soon ran out and she would get a big faceslap coming her way soon.

They can only hope though because this was just the beginning of Lu Miyan's plan.

Lu Miyan was accompanied by Lu Zhiyan to her room so that he could ensure that she would be, at the very least, safe in her room.

Lu Zhiyan ordered a maid to get Lu Miyan some food but she refused and instead convinced her that she wasn't hungry which was the truth since she was a doctor in her past life, a lot of injuries take a lot of time and effort so she didn't stray away to eat and just proceeded to do the necessary steps in order for the patient to be cured.

Lu Zhiyan told Lu Miyan that if she ever needed something, she could go to his room and let him know about it, that way he can accompany her to wherever she needs to go.

Lu Zhiyan left after a few minutes od Lu Miyan convincing him that he must be tired from running all the way home just to save her, when Lu Zhiyan closed the door, Lu Miyan changed to a black attire and altered her face to look different.

She put the fox on her shoulder and carefully went down to the streets.
