Lu An'yu feigned to reluctantly slowed down her steps, her eyes showing a small hint of restraint. She bit on her lips and curtsy to the Crown prince to show people that even though she knew that she was to be married off and become royal, she was still humble.

She was thought of how to act innocently by her mother and it really fooled everyone to think that she was a perfect girl that deserved to be cherished.

But deep inside her, Lu An'yu was complaining and even cursed at the Crown prince for even letting her curtsy but her face showed none of that as it remained unfazed.

The Crown prince grinned at the obedient girl in front of her and told her softly. "Don't do that in front of me, my love. You are to be a princess soon so you aren't required to do that anymore."

Kang Zhen helped her up and pulled her close to his body, the crowd was envious to the sight of the two beautiful people that was side by side but they didn't say anything and only offered praise to the two people.

Lu An'yu sheepishly beamed at him and looked down to look abashed when in reality, she was actually enjoying the praises and how the people around them, especially the girls, were jealous at her for claiming and capturing the heart of the Crown prince.

"Come, let us greet my father-in-law."

From that, the both of them went in the house.

Lu Miyan wasn't aware of the things happening outside because she was busy cultivating, thankfully, she managed to finish her cultivation before a harsh knock came from the other side of the door.

The door abruptly opened and the maid sauntered in without any polite greetings but just a mocking expression on her face, Lu Miyan was still busy assessing her body status when the maid went in the room and so she was a bit annoyed.

"The Crown prince is here, offer your greetings." The maid rudely informed her and was filled with happiness when she let those words out because she knew Lu Miyan's bad temper.

Shockingly for her, Lu Miyan didn't bother looking at her and was just quietly checking her state. She was here to cause trouble to Lu Miyan and intentionally make Lu Miyan burst in anger and harm her.

She was humiliated because Lu Miyan didn't even look at her and pretended that she was still alone in her room, this attitude made the maid's blood boil and her kept up hate for the Lu An'yu, her brothers and her mother to open up.

She was so fed up at being commanded to do something for the Lu household and the only thing that she can think of to cope with her pent up anger was to let Lu Miyan taste her own blood for not paying attention to her.

So the maid gathered up her power and her body was immediately covered in a brown glow and she was about to ran to Lu Miyan when she saw that Lu Miyan wasn't there anymore.

She turned around and saw Lu Miyan casually leaning against the wall, the maid thought that she might have just  been scared. The maid ran to her but she quickly vanished again, the maid eventually noticed that something was wrong but before she can grasp what it is.

A strong force hit her body and she was sent flying to the corner of the room, she slumped down to the wall and was covered with numerous cuts and bruises from the impact of the force.

Lu Miyan was standing in front of her with a brown and red glow around her body, meaning that she was at the peak of her power and that she can rank up to the red rank.

The maid saw the glow that was enveloping the body of the girl and she trembled in fear, she thought that she could do whatever she wanted to the girl because the girl was deemed useless but whoever thought that the girl they have been bullying was actually almost a red rank!

She couldn't even move her body from how painful the attack was, more so open her mouth.

Lu Miyan's eyes didn't even flinch at the sight of the blood that was gushing out of the maid and left the room to meet the Crown prince and to provide herself a small entertainment.

Downstairs, Lu An'yu was talking to the Crown prince and her father animatedly, they were happily conversing with each other without the prior knowledge about the turmoil that happened in Lu Miyan's room.

"If you ever need the Imperial palace for your injuries, just simply present this token and they will grant you access to the best physicians of the kingdom." Kang Zhen handed the silver token to Lu Juo kindly.

Lu Juo refused it at first but after Kang Zhen continuously insisted on them taking it as a gift, he accepted it and he was overjoyed that he can be cured by the best physicians and he even thanked his daughter for providing his father with such great fortune.

Lu An'yu was also ecstatic since she knew that her father wouldn't let Lu Miyan be cured if she ever does get sick or injured so that means that when she becomes the Crown princess, she would freely torture Lu Miyan and no one would help her or even wrap a bandage around her injuries so that she can rot and die in a cell.

For such a young girl, Lu An'yu's mind was full of disturbing images of different ways of how to torture her own flesh and blood.

No one really knew what ran into people's minds.

Lu Juo was satisfied of where their family was going and ordered for the maids to prepare the best tea in their treasury. It was the flower tea that Lu Juo's mother gifted to him, the name of it was got because of its flowery fragrance and thus made the people craved for it.

The fragrance of the tea was actually to entice people in becoming obsessed with it, but, clearly, Lu Juo wasn't aware of thie fact and thought it was just a simple tea.

While they were basking in the joy of their "fortune", light footsteps clashed against the floor and the three people whipped their heads around to see Lu Miyan elegantly descending the stairs in her white dress.

For a second, even Lu An'yu was mesmerised by the beauty of Lu Miyan that made Lu An'yu hate her more. This was one of the reason why Lu An'yu couldn't wait to get her hands on Lu Miyan, it was because of her unreachable beauty that can defeat a whole country's line of women.

A duck will really get jealous of a bird's appearance.

"Lu Miyan, come." Lu Juo commanded Lu Miyan but still had his soft voice so that the Crown Prince wouldn't think that they're treating Lu Miyan unfairly and that he was being biased.

Lu Miyan obeyed and went closer to the three people, she sat down with their eyes still on her figure, Kang Zhen wanted to avert his eyes away from Lu Miyan because he knew that she was using her beauty to get what she wants but something seems to attract his eyes to her whenever he did look away.

Lu Miyan didn't notice the strange atmosphere that settled in the room and she still kept her face calm and cold, Lu An'yu was having a hard time keeping herself calm though because she noticed Kang Zhen's eyes on Lu Miyan.

You're seducing my fiancé, Lu Miyan. I'll make you pay for trying to steal him away from me! Lu An'yu thought in anger to herself.
