"Minho is such a shuckface." You thought as you ran. Cranks were running after you, gladers, and you were running out of breath. Your stupid, best friend has turned on the light which has created this mess. Maybe you should throw him into the cranks as a peace trade and maybe they'll leave you guys alone. A crank leaped onto you as you were screaming in terror. Newt whipped around to see you struggling underneath a crank and his face suddenly went pale. He loaded his gun and shot the crank on the head. He then helped you up and ran towards the door where Winston screaming for you guys to hurry up. Thomas yelled after you guys settled in, "CLOSE THE DOOR!"

Frypan yelled back, "We're trying to!"
They were trying to move the cranks arm out of the way when one of the cranks grabbed Winston's ankle and dragged him.

"WINSTON!" You screamed on top of you lungs.

You quickly grabbed Newt's gun as you tried to shoot the crank instead of Winston. The bullets screamed as they sprung into freedom. You kept shooting at the cranks who got in the way and dragged Winston toward the other gladers while Frypan had finally managed to close the door. You were shivering in fear when your hands were smeared with Winston's blood. Winston has been bitten. You quickly lift Winston over your shoulder and used all your strength to get to the others.

Thomas rushed up to help you and asked, "What happened to him?"

"Can't you tell shuckface? He's been bitten." Minho snapped.

You guys lay him down as you quickly took off your worn out jacket and wrap it around his stomach. Teresa gave a little bit of pressure on the jacket, so it'll slow down the bleeding. He winced in pain as you saw he was slight pale. You were terrified that you were gonna lose your friend.

"We all need some sleep for tomorrow." Thomas began. "We'll sleep under the 'cave' for shelter."

The gladers slowly helped Winston stand up and slowly walked toward the "cave."

"Should we have stayed in WICKED?" You thought. "Then this wouldn't have happened. If I was only a bit faster, he would be find by now."

You silently blamed yourself. Minho gathered worn out clothes and chunks of bricks to create fire. The evening was deadly silent. You could see that everybody was scared and was worried about what was about to happen next. You were sure that Thomas had a plan.
You pull your knees against your chest as you saw Minho sitting next to you. He wrapped his arm around your shoulder.

"Hey," he murmured, "don't blame yourself."

"I'm not." You lied.

He chuckled as he messed up your hair.  "I may not be Newt, but I know when your lying because you're like a sister to me."

You stayed silent as you look at Winston whispering to Frypan who was nursing him.

"I could have been faster." You replied.

"That's probably why I didn't allow you to become a runner!" He joked around.

"Hey!" You snapped. "I at least have a shucking brain unlike you who just turn on the light."

"Oh shut up, shuckface. Remember the time in the glade where I pranked you and--"

You punched him on his arm and you giggled. You both burst into laughter till Teresa gave you both a dagger stare. Minho was like a brother to you.

"Well, good night n/n. I'ma go to sleep now." He stated as you both walked to the others.

Newt saw you and he patted on the sand. You laid down next to him, using his arm as your pillow. He buried his head on your shoulder.

He whispered, "You looked real happy with Minho over there."

You giggled and faced him. His chocolate brown eyes always made you lose your thoughts.

"Are you jealous?" You pouted.

His cheeks slightly turned red and replied, "No."

"Hmm maybe I should hangout with Minho more often, you know."

"Shut up."

"Admit that your--"

His lips attached your lips and gave you a passionate kiss.

"Sorry. I couldn't help it." His face was turning really red. "You just looked...bloody cute."

He buried himself on your shoulder as you giggled.

"Good night, Newt."

"Good night, love."
