Chapter 5: Kite's new ally
Turn 3 - "Kite 2000" Shun 4000
"I activate Xyz reborn to bring back Paladynamo! And now, by tributing Both Paladynamo And Daybreaker! I can special summon my ace monster! Come forth, my very soul! Galaxy eyes photon dragon!" Kite throws the star shaped item into the air as Galaxy-Eyes photon dragon appeared from it. "Interesting Xyz monster but it stands no chance against my dragon! Go Galaxy Eyes! Attack his Falcon! Photon Blast!" Galaxy Eyes Charges up an attack and blasts Stranger Falcon, destroying it while Shun gets hurt in the process Shun- 3000 "Finally. Damage... Now I set one card face down and-." Shun smirked, "Not so fast! I activate Rank-Up-Magic Doom Double Force! I can summon an Xyz monster double the rank of one in my graveyard! Come forth! Raidraptor Ultimate Falcon!" A gigantic mechanical raptor appears, one singular overlay unit. Kite Sighs and looks down "I end my turn"
Kite- 2000 Shun- 3000
Shun drew his card, before instantly activating a card. "I activate Overlay Regen and target Raidraptor ultimate falcon! It gains the card as an overlay unit!" The spell card forms into an overlay unit and starts swirling around Ultimate Falcon. "Now! Ultimate falcon Activates his effect! By detaching one overlay unit your Galaxy eyes can lose 1000 attack!" The overlay unit gets absorbed by ultimate falcon but Kite Smirks. "I activate my trap card! Photon change! I send Galaxy Eyes photon dragon to the grave and activate both effects! I special summon Photon Caesar!" Galaxy eyes gets sent through wormhole downward as Photon Caesar is summoned from the deck to the field in defence position. "And since your target has vanished your effect is negated! But that's not all. I can add one Photon card from my deck to my hand" Shun laughed at Kite's frugal attempts to stay in the duel "Nice try. But you'll go down eventually! Ultimate Falcon! Attack his Photon Caesar!" Ultimate Falcon rises up and spreads its wings, the circle at the back aligning up as a laser fires at Photon Caesar, destroying it. "I end my turn. And usually it would decrease your monsters attack by 1000 points, but it deals you 1000 damage instead!"
Turn 4 "Kite- 1000" Shun- 3000
Kite draws a card, and smirks to himself. Two cards in his hand will almost guarantee victory. "I activate, Galaxy Zero and bring back my Galaxy eyes Photon dragon! And then I activate Galaxy Expedition! Allowing me to summon Galaxy Knight from my deck! Now, prepare to meet your demise! I overlay Galaxy eyes Photon Dragon And Galaxy Knight! Appear! Number 62! Darkness and light wandering in the universe. Sorrowful dragon who sleeps in interactive. It's power of creating opens the door of truth! Galaxy-Eyes prime photon dragon!" Shun Watched as a gigantic dark and neon blue dragon lumbered over ultimate falcon, The overlay units contrasting against the colour. Kite simply smirked "Now! I attack your Raidraptor ultimate dragon!" Shun laughed a bit. "500 damage? That won't be much." Kite shook his head at what Shun said "you're wrong! I activate Prime Photon dragon's effect! When its battling I can detach an Xyz material, and it gains attack equal to all ranks on the field times 200! And since there are 18 total ranks on the field, prime Photon dragon gains 3600 attack points!" Prime Photon dragon absorbed an overlay unit of its own and started to charge energy, its attack raising to 7600. "This is well more than enough to finish you off! Galaxy eyes prime Photon dragon! Attack Ultimate Falcon! Prime Photon Eraser!" Prime Photon dragon charged a laser in its mouth, before firing it at Ultimate Falcon, the laser easily being double ultimate falcons size as it annihilated the monster and the rest of Shun's life points.
Kite- 1000 Shun- 0
Shun stared in disbelief, Kite had won even though they had a 2000 life point difference. He walked over to Kite and stuck his hand out, which Kite happily shook. "That was fun Kite, you're one of the most talented duellists I've ever met." Kite Smiled to himself a bit "You were good as well, uhhh..."
"Just call me Shun. I'll be helping you take on the Barians from now on." Kite narrowed his eyes a bit. "Why? Why are you gonna help?"
"They have one of my allies. I don't know what they're planning to do with him though. It's better to fight in numbers than alone though." Kite shook his head. "So we're fighting for similar reasons then. It'll be nice to have someone that can join me and some of my friends in Fighting the Barians"

Down in Heartland city, and at the movie studio, a situation had broken out. Nelson had took some of the co-stars in his show hostage, he was overwhelmed by the power of the card he received and was able to tap into some Barian abilities. He had put the guards into a sleep like state and put out energy projections of them to patrol. Shark, Tori and Rio were sneaking around the studio, trying to get to Nelson. Tori had adjusted her deck with everyone's help, including utopia in it. They managed to sneak past the guards and get to where Nelson was holding the card he had obtained, muttering to himself. The trio watched, Rio recognising the effects instantly. "That's close to Don Thousands capabilities... he could manipulate people to his will. So whoever did this can use that ability..."
Emma was in a rope all on her own, away from the other co stars. "Nelson! Why are you doing this!?" Nelson just stared at her, a longing in his eyes. He reached out for her face, until suddenly. The wall blows up.
