Katanas Pov

When I came too I was in a strange room, laying on a bed with my left arm laid out above my head. I lifted my arm wincing in pain, almost imeaditly I noticed a deep gash on my forearm had been bandaged. There was a bit I blood seeping through the bandage but my healing factor would have it fully healed in no time. Sitting up I looked around the room, I wasn't alone though, sitting in a corner there was a boy in a red and blue skin suit. I freaked out, immediately reaching to see if my mask was still on, fearing that my identity was out. When I reached up my mask was only a fraction of the way up, but I realized that I had a cut on my cheek and my mask was damp with blood, I turned my attention to the boy and began rattling off questions.

"Who are you? Where am I? How long was I out for?" He finally answered after I stopped my rambling. "My name is Spider-Man, you're in my house where I brought you after you blacked out, and about two hours." I decided to attempt to sit up but had issues because my left arm was still weak. Spider-Man quickly rushed over and helped me to sit up, against the head board of what I assumed to be his bed. "Oww, dammit why hasn't my healing factor kicked in by now," I cursed aggravated that I had been taken down by those two idiots on the roof. I looked up at him angry having this mask on was uncomfortable and kept rubbing against the cut on my cheek making the pain all the more annoying, finally I asked, "Can I trust you?" Confused he finally answered, "So long as I can trust you."

Nodding I took off my mask, revealing who I was. Looking up I noticed he had done the same. He had saggy light brown hair, bright blue eyes, overall he looked gorgeous. He looked to be around the same age as me, maybe a year or two older, but not too much. "Mm...my names Katana." I stuttered. He looked at me smiled then said, "The names Peter, nice to meet you. How long does it usually take for your healing factor to heal a gash like that?" I looked at him puzzled, then remembered my arm. "It should have been healed by now I'm really not sure why it hasn't yet honestly. Is there somewhere I can go to clean up and check on it?"

He nodded, "Down the hall, first door on the left." I got up and followed his directions to a small bathroom. I went in an unwrapped my arm and inspected it. It was slowly healing into what was going to be a rough looking scar, I knew it would always be there. As I scanned farther up I noticed a black tattoo outline in the same shape as my amulet. I made a mental note to call my dad and ask what it meant. After I had cleaned the blood off, I left and went back to Peters room and plopped back down on his bed.

I could tell by the look on his face he was holding back from quizzing me about what I was doing on the roof of the abandoned building. I explained that I was following a lead on a company called cryvex. When I was ambushed by a couple of their tougher thugs, I wasn't strong enough to take them both down and then I ended up here. He just nodded thinking quietly to himself," How are those cuts healing? They looked pretty bad earlier."

There doing fine my healing factor is taking care of them but it just being a little slower than usual. Peter why did you save me when I fell?" I asked. He blushed slightly, obviously a little stunned, but then his face softened into an understanding smile. "At first it was just my instincts kicking in and taking over. I was originally going to save you then leave, but curiosity killed the cat and once I realized who you were I knew I couldn't leave you. If I would have left you, you'd most likely be dead by now, so I figured the best course of action was to bring you back here."

"Thank you for saving me, without you I'm not sure what would have happened. So why'd you put the mask down if you don't mind me asking?" He sat silently for a few minutes before replying simply, "I chose safety of my family over throwing my life away in countless battles were you never truly win." I was confused but decided it may be for the best not to press the matter too much, for fear of pissing him off and loosing his trust and kindness. "I see." Was all I could think of to reply with.

Looking down at my arms I noticed my wrist and remembered I needed to call my dad. "Is there a phone I could use, I need to call my dad and when I go out as the white tiger I leave mine at home?" He nodded his understanding, then handed me his phone. I dialed my dad's number and waited, hoping he would answer.

Listening to the dial tone I kept thinking to myself "Please pickup dad, come on pick up already." He finally answered asking, "Who is this?" "Dad it's me katana, your daughter." I replied. "Oh thank god you're ok. Why didn't you call earlier? Where are you? What happened?" He was firing off questions like crazy. "Dad calm down, I'm fine, I got hit off a building during an ambush from cryvex. A few cuts and bruises but other than that I'm fine thanks to Spider-Man showing up and saving my ass. I do have a question though dad, my wrist has a weird symbol on it, it looks like my amulet but it's dark black. What is it, is it important? " "How long ago did it show up?" When he asked this I looked over to Peter who had a puzzled look on his face. I mouthed to him telling him that I needed a moment and that I'd explain later, he nodded before heading out of the room. Back to my phone call I explained to my dad that around an hour ago was when I first noticed it. Dad paused a moment then told me, "You need to come home and bring the boy with you I'll explain more when you to get here." "Dad it's getting late and I'm still feeling weak. I'm going to see if I can stay here and we'll come home in the morning, I love you and I'll see you tomorrow morning. Bye dad."
