Kind of a short chapter, but still... enjoy!

New York, New York

Giselle patiently waited for her mom to answer her FaceTime call as she admired herself in the camera. She did little cute poses here and there and talked to herself about how good she looked.

Her phone dinged and she looked up to see a little text from Junior. She smiled, but quickly covered it once her mom answered.

"Hey mama!" Giselle yelled.

She was excited to see her mom, even if it was just over FaceTime. Her mom was looking beautiful as always. Her light, dazzling piercing blue eyes gleamed when she saw her daughter.

Alessia was wearing her hair back in a slicked down bun and her face was bare. She was walking around the kitchen. She had just got done cleaning up the whole entire house since Izan was out of town and she had nothing else better to do.

She was actually glad that her daughter had decided to call her. She didn't get to talk to her as much with her being so busy with Juilliard.

"Hey baby! How you doing?" Alessia smiled, propping her phone up on the counter. She took a seat at the dining room table and looked her daughter over. It sometimes scared her how much they looked alike.

Giselle only had Izan's nose and ears, that was about it.

"I'm doing good. What you up to?"

Alessia sighed heavily. "Child nothing. I just got done cleaning up this damn kitchen. Your dad is out in Atlanta, so I've been bored all day."

"He should be flying back later on tonight though."

Giselle laughed at her mom. Because Alessia had officially retired out of the Psychology Center as head manager, she now stayed at home and mentored young ladies technologically.

Via FaceTime, or Skype, she counseled young women and became kind of like another mom, or big sister to them.

Not only does Alessia enjoys the fact that she's able to stay at home, but she also manages to build bonds with different young ladies and that was what she absolutely loved.

She got paid well and she definitely wasn't complaining.

"Dang, Atlanta? I just know he's going to be busy with all of them incoming artist trying to achieve their lil come up there."

Alessia agreed. "Well, what's up? Anything new?" She asked, propping her elbows up on the table.

Giselle couldn't help but to laugh at her mom. She acted like a little ass kid sometimes.
