_"You sure you have everything? Did you double check?" Satinia's brother; Simao asked.
"Yessss!" She dragged on, handing him the last of her suitcases.
It was now 7:47 in the morning and Satinia would depart for Chicago in exactly 13 minutes.
She went back over towards the girls as they sat in the comfy airport chairs and smiled her goofy smile. "Stand and hug me!" She demanded, laughing.
Satinia watched as the girls stood one by one. Feeling each of their warm embrace caused her to melt under their comforting touch. She knew then that this would probably be the last of that feeling.
"I love you so much Satinia." Zoe whispered, pulling back as she hung onto her arms tightly. "You stay safe and you make your family proud. Continue to dance.... continue to smile and bring forward your positive energy. It makes you who you are." She preached, wiping Satinia's tears from under her baggy eyes.
"I love you too, thank you Zoe."
Zoe nodded and stood back so either Jazmin, or Giselle could comment.
"I don't even know what to say, lol. This feels like a dream, I can't believe you're actually leaving us." Jazmin laughed shockingly, leaning her head back to keep her tears from falling.
"No, Jazmin don't cry." Satinia begged, her tears flowing down like a river. "You're only going to make me cry harder."
"I'm sorry." She held her hand up. "I just can't control it." She slightly laughed, bringing Satinia in for yet another big hug.
"I can't really talk that well right now because I'm just overwhelmed with a bunch of emotions, but like Zoe said... I love you and please stay safe. Continue to be you."
Satinia nodded. "I will, and I love you too."
Back in the corner was Giselle, watching as Zoe and Jazmin cried over Satinia's departure. Giselle had already talked to Satinia earlier, so she didn't feel the need to waste her breath again.
She had cried all the tears she needed to cry a long time ago and she was honestly just ready for everything to be over with. The situation, as a whole was undeniably sad, but Giselle still felt as if Satinia should've stayed at Juilliard.
Not only that, but Giselle also felt as if Satinia made an excuse for everything. If she was put into this position and it was all up to her, she would most definitely continue to dance at Juilliard because she knew that it made her mom happy and proud that she had finally accomplished her dreams.
